Chapter 11
LouiseIt surprised Louise when Madison had visited along with her daughter Lulu. She didn’t get to see them very often, and it was nice to have them both at home. “I’m so glad you’re here,” Louise said. “Would you like a cup of tea?”
“I’ll have a coffee,” Madison said. “But let me make it. Do you want a cup of tea?”
Louise smiled and nodded. “Do you know where everything is?”
“I’ll manage,” Madison said.
“There are pictures on all the cupboards and drawers, so you know what’s inside without having to open it,” she said. It was a clever idea that Philip and Abby had come up with; and it made things so much easier for Louise. It was yet another simple way of trying to keep her independence.
