When Ree thinks about it, what the Old Madame said was true. Participating in the selection did not mean that she would become a winner. She even expected to get eliminated immediately if ever she joins. She was definitely not up to par with her co-participants because she knows nothing about etiquette in this era. The situations she was able to get through were because of the knowledge and the skills she acquired from the previous world she lived in and some sudden recollections of the life of the previous owner of the body she now possesses. Anyway, entering the selection would be an interesting experience for her.
