Howls of agony could be heard from everywhere within the territory and it nearly made Eliza lose her sanity. She quickly ran out of the room, "I can be locked up in here when they are suffering, father" She growled under her breath, going straight to the front door.
But her father blocked her path at an instant, "I cannot let you leave" Her father said, shaking his head, "I can't lose you. Please, go back to your room and hide under your breath. We will be safe in here" He tried to push her back, desperate to keep his daughter safe.
Eliza rolled her eyes and pulled her hair up in a tight braid so it wouldn't fall on her face when she fights with the vampires in a few more minutes.
