It has been over three weeks since I’ve seen Wren. Being away from her has driven me into a state of depression I have never experienced, even when my parents passed. We have attempted to reach out to her by sending messages or using crystals, but each time it is Eva or Elden that answer, and they tell me the same damn thing every time.
“Sorry King Orin, she can’t speak with you right now,” was the most recent thing Eva had told me when I attempted to reach out to Wren. I felt so defeated and hurt. I didn’t know the reason she was avoiding me and that was the worst possible thing. I buried myself in my work and attempted to distract myself from this hole in my heart that would never again be filled without her.
