From the Perspective of Fae King Kalen Orin: Aspen arrived after dinner to escort us to the Knight’s Keep. I fought to keep my breathing level, as she opened a portal to my mate. We stepped through the glowing swirling portal, and it was as if we had stepped back in time.  The Knight’s Keep looked to be some kind of castle, even more ancient than the Fae Palace I resided in. The dark grey stones certainly set an impressive intimidating tone. I heard the tell-tale clank of metal around the corner, which told me that some of the knights must be training.
