Suicidal Ghoul

Chapter 2

"What the hell are you?!" Flag demanded as he circles around Kaneki who is sitting on a steel chair. Kaneki still had his composure as he cursed in japanese. He doesn't like a weak human interrogate him. He could have killed him by now, yet he didn't.

Kaneki has to lie in this. He must. Maybe he'll create a lie mixed with truth. He could do that. That is the only way he could gain their trust. They might not believe the whole truth anyway. He doesn't want to tell them about he's from another world. Also about Touka, Hinami, Yoshimura, Yomo, and Hide.

He doesn't want to talk about them since he can no longer meet them. He misses them since he was teleported in here.

Why was he in a interrogation room? They must be finding the joker and the escaped prisoner right now. There are much more important things to do than knowing about him. But if they insist, he will do it.

"I'm an artificial ghoul." Kaneki answered as he took off his medical eyepatch on his left eye before putting it in his pocket.

"Ghoul? Artificial?" Flag questioned. What the hell is a ghoul? He doesn't know what a ghoul is. He never heard of it before.

Kaneki sighed. "I was once human."

Flag placed his hands on the table as he glared at Kaneki, "Tell me more. How did you become this way? What the heck is a ghoul?"

Kaneki looked down as he stared at the floor. "Ghouls are danerous beings that eats human flesh. Even if we eat human food, we get very sick from it. A ghoul's hunger is an utter hell. Some of us have gone insane from it and became psychopatic killers like joker. Also, what makes us dangerous is that we have predatory organs called Kagune. Our skins are very tough and we can even take a knife or a bullet in every body and live to tell about it. I became a ghoul when I was almost got killed by it. I don't remember what fully happened. I woke up in a hospital and found out that the doctor who treated me, putted a ghoul's organ in order to save my life. That is how I ended up like this."

"Then how come we have never heard of this 'ghouls' you are saying?" A woman's voice came from behind. The two turned their head to see who is it was: Amanda Weller.

"Speak of the devil." Flag said as he started leaning against the wall before putting his hands in his pocket.

"That is because they do not exist anymore. I'm the only one left. The ghoul who almost killed me was dead. But she still haunts me in my head." Kaneki lied as he tensed up. He hoped that they would believed his explanation. They won't believe him anyway if he told them that he's from another world.

Amanda noticed that Kaneki tensed up after he said that. He was telling them information that is mixed with a lie and truth. There are probably more of them. She can only assume that he doesn't know much about his kind or maybe he is just trying to cover for them so she wouldn't know much about this 'ghouls'.

"What's this ghoul's name?" Amanda questioned. The tone of her voice becoming much more serious than it already was.

Kaneki clenched his fists. He doesn't like to talk about her. She's the one who made his life a tragedy, "Rize Kamishiro. I don't know much about her since she almost killed me after our first date." Kaneki answered.

Flag scoffed. "Talk about first date going wrong. You're very bad at choosing women, kid. Like me."

"So, I have answered all your questions. Can I keep some of the bodies I killed? I'm running out of food inside my house." Kaneki asked.

"You can if you do two favors for me." Amanda said.

"What is it?" Kaneki questioned as he leaned back on his chair.

Somewhere in Gotham City

Kaneki looked out the window and saw a middle aged man wearing a black tux outside. He looked like the billionaire playboy in the news.

Kaneki widen his eyes in realization. It's really him. Bruce Wayne. Owner of Wayne Enterprise. One of the richest man in the world.

Bruce opened the door before going inside the restaurant. He looked around and only saw two costumers. The creator of the Task Force X: Amanda Waller, who is sitting across the table. And a white haired japanese teenager standing beside her. He wore a black leather hoodie with black shirt underneath and dark pants. He had a white medical eyepatch on his left eye.

"Who is that?" He asked in a gruffly voice as he started walking towards the gothic emo.

"That's Ken Kaneki. The new recruit." Amanda answered as Bruce grabbed a chair and placed it towards the two before sitting.

"That's weird, for you to put a trust on a new recruit despite his young age. What does he do?" Bruce questioned as he placed his hands on the table.

"He's a good fighter. And a good tracker." Amanda answered.

Bruce smirked at Kaneki while Kaneki gave him a glare.

Joker's hideout

It was a dirty oval room. There were many guns and knives lying on the floor. The wall was dirty and filled with crazy drawings.

"Say! Who is the ivory head? They say he's good. I have never seen or heard of him before." Joker questioned Harley who is lying on a couch.

Harley started giggling, "He's probably a new recruit, pudding."

"Well, that new recruit took out 28 of my men without a scratch." Joker turned his attention to his associate who is standing besides the door, "I wanna know about him. Have your men to spy that emo."

"Yes sir." The associate answered and with that, he left the room, leaving Harley and Joker alone.

Joke turned around and saw Harley. She was smiling wickedy as Joker started laughing crazily. "We can now begin, darling."

"You better shut it down, or my friends and I will shut it down for you." Bruce threatened as he put the meta-human files that Amanda gave him inside his coat pocket.

He proceeded to door and left, leaving Kaneki and Amanda alone.

"I can't believe I just met the Batman." Kaneki admitted.

"Yeah, you'll get used to it." Amanda commented.

Rick opened his eyes and sat up on his bed. He just had a horrible nightmare. In his dream, Kaneki tried to eat his beloved June Moone but this Kaneki wore different mask. The mask had a creepy one eye and had a beak like bird on it. Also Kaneki had a centipede like tentacles sprouting on his back.

Flag then felt a soft hand on his back. He turned around to see June who was comforting him with her hand. "What is it?"

"It's the new recruit. I just had a nightmare about him. He, uh, tried to eat you while I just watched and do nothing." Flag answered. He had sweat all over his face and his breathing were very fast. He was scared. He was scared of the white haired ghoul.

June scoffed and smiled. "Now, why would that recruit would try to eat me?"

"It turns out he was a dangerous being called ghouls. Ghouls eat human flesh and I have witnessed how a ghoul fights and hunts. He's dangerous. One thing though, He was once human but he dated with a ghoul, without knowing. The ghoul almost killed him, but he survived and the ghoul was killed instead. The doctor who treated him, putted the dead ghoul's organ inside him in order to save him. Since, then he can no longer eat normal food. He became a ghoul. Ghouls cannot eat human food since it makes them very sick. It must be hell if you become one."

"I see. Don't worry too much. I'll stay away from him if that's what you want." June reassured.
