Ahaan was now 2 years old while Aarushi,6. He was totally a mumma's boy while she, daddy's princess.

"Manik..you should have come too" Nandini spoke over the phone sadly.

Yes, she has been to attend a meeting which didn't need him but her and will continue till 9 pm.

"Baby! You know right? Who would have looked after our two munchkins " He said to which she hummed.

"I love you! Do your work and come back to me very soon..so you know.." He started teasing her.

"I know?" She bit her lips and stated boldly.

"First you come to me, Mrs. Malhotra! I will give you a practical " He winked at her.

"I would love to Mr. Malhotra" She kissed the phone to which he smiled.

"Dadddy! See! Ahaan is crying" Aarushi shouted from downstairs to which Nandini giggled and Manik ran downstairs cutting the call.

"What happened to my champ" He started cajoling his son who was continuously crying.

"Are baby! Tell papa nah" Ahaan looked at Manik with doe shaped eyes just like Nandini and muttered "Doo-ddhoo"

"Aarushi! Bring the milk bottle now" Aarushi ran to bring the bottle while Manik started cuddling him "Just now!! My champ will have the best milk prepared by his daddy!! Better than what Mommy makes!" He expected Ahaan to smile but instead Ahaan had his eyes narrowed at Manik.

"Nandini! Such a momma's boy,I tell you" He muttered under his breath when Aarushi handed the bottle to him.

He was making Ahaan drink so that the little soul could sleep and not remember Nandini who still had 7 hours left to come.

After drinking milk, he again started crying to which Manik and Aarushi started making funny faces so to calm him down. He did stopped crying but muttered only a word "Mumma"

"Mamma will come baccha! Daddy is with you" He kissed his cheek to which Ahaan gave a little smile.

After a while

"Daddyy! Rhea (Aarushi's friend) is here! Buh bye!" Manik kissed her forehead and bid a bye to her and continued his work on laptop with a sleeping Ahaan on his chest.

"Hey! Baby" Oh! He FaceTimed her.

"Aww! My babyy!!" Nandini looked at Ahaan with an aww which was clearly not liked by our Mr. Possessive Malhotra.

"Sweetheart! Can't you see your big baby over here" He faked a smile to which she started laughing.

"Are you serious Manik? My god! My jealous big baby!How do you feel?" She said making him smile.

"He's really a momma's boy" Manik caressed Ahaan's hairs making Nandini smile "Just like Aarushi is daddy's girl" And they both laughed which woke Ahaan up. He didn't see Nandini and snaked his arms around Manik's neck "Papa! Papa!" Manik smiled wholeheartedly and caressed his back "What happened little boy?”

"I labh you daddy" He said and again slept making Manik and Nandini smile the most.
