Her Mate, His Luna

Chapter 11

*Aliane POV*

    Every head in the room snapped towards me and just stared. I guess that was a lousy way to say that, so I quickly started to speak again. 

"I am a blessed wolf. I have abilities that are kind of strange. No wolf, bear, or witch can hurt me is the part most people know, but it goes beyond that. If a person is pure of heart with good intentions and touches them, I can see parts of their past and present. I didn't know you had twins until I touched you, but I also noticed that you were currently pregnant with a set of triplets. So congratulations, you and Glacier are great people, and your kids are so blessed to have you guys."

        When I finished my explanation, Izzy and Glacier had tears in their eyes. While my mate looked shocked, proud, and, most of all, happy. Izzy jumped on me and hugged me with everything she had, and when she pulled away from me, she went to hug Ivàn. At the same time, Glacier came over and picked me up. Then he started to spin me around, and we began to laugh.  Ivàn and Izzy were staring and laughing at our interaction as well, and this is when I 100% knew that they were going to be so damn important to me. They were going to be more than inlaws to me. They were genuinely going to my friends... my family. When Glacier started to get dizzy, he put me down, and we both went to our mates. Ivàn pulled me into a hug and kissed my forehead. Something about the kiss on the forehead made me so happy it felt so good, and it seemed like he was proud of me. 

"Aliane, I don't think you know how happy you have made us all. I have known you for two days, and yet already, you have my life better and made those I care about most happier than ever. I'm so glad that the moon goddess made you Ivàn's mate." Glacier said 

I started to tear up because I could feel his sincerity. I could feel his emotions, and it made me so overwhelmed. 

" Thank you, guys, for accepting me. Your amazing people, and I can't wait to know you better." 

    Izzy and Glacier stayed in mine and Ivàn's room for a little while and talked. I got to know more about all of them, and my mate and his sister are crazy. They were a defiantly wild child, and I'm somewhat concerned about our future kids. The glacier is like me and is more laid back and calm, and I could see how we balance our mates. Izzy asked about Glacier's nickname and Antonio, and I started laughing while a growl came from Ivàn, and Izzy just looked confused. After she learned why that was the nickname I choose for him, she agreed with me but with Ivàn at the same time. But in our group, there was no real jealousy. We all trusted our mates like nothing else and would never betray each other. 

    When they left, Ivàn and I went and played on our bed and started to watch Netflix. While watching "Vampire Diaries," I got distracted by my thoughts. I don't think I'm ready to have s*x yet. I trust Ivàn completely, but I think I want to wait until we're married. My parents always told me by waiting until you mated and married, it will be more magical, and considering that I've been saving my virginity for my wedding night, I think I'm going to stick with that plan. I believe this is the reason why the moon goddess always interrupts us. I believe it because I'm supposed to wait for some reason. 

Ivàn interrupts my thoughts when he pulls me closer to him and kisses my forehead. 

"Mariposa, what's wrong?"

"Nothing is wrong; love, I was just thinking."

"What about."

I moved over, so now we were face to face. I looked up into his eyes, and he adjusts his arm behind my head and the one around my waist. He was trying to get in a comfortable position again. 

"I was thinking about s*x,"  I said, and his eyes went wide in shock. So I continued. 

"I think we should wait until we are married and marked."

"Where is this coming from?" He asked; he sounded a little confused, and a bit hurt but also accepting. 

"Growing up, I was always told to save my self for my mate, but to also save myself until my mate and I were married and marked. I want to do it that way. I think this is the reason we keep getting interrupted. Even though I'm ready to give myself to you, I think we were supposed to wait. I want to wait." I said

Ivàn pulled me in closer to him, and I buried my head in his chest. 

" Alright, Mariposa, if this is what you want, then we will do it. I'd do anything you want."

I hugged him even tighter. He is quickly becoming my whole universe, and id do anything for him just like he would for me.

"Thank you, baby," I whispered.

I pulled away from him a little bit so I could see his handsome face. I leaned up and kissed him. I put all of my love and appreciation into that one kiss. He returned it with all of his passion as well. I fell more in love with this man every day. When the kiss started to get a little more, he pulled away, and we started trying to catch our breath. Then he leaned in again.

"I have to keep my promise, baby." He whispered in my ear and then pulled away again and winked.

"Let's go get dinner, Mariposa." 

Then Ivàn and I walked downstairs and to the kitchen hand in hand. My smart mate must have linked the chiefs earlier because dinner was ready and waiting for us when we got there. We had mashed potatoes, a huge medium-rare steak, and two side dishes. One was Brussel sprouts, and then the other was two tacos. I, of course, ate everything, and not even a crumb was left on my plate.

"Mariposa, I think your love of food is unmatched. I've never seen such a little person eat so much food and still have room for more." Ivàn laughed. 

"Get used to it, buddy boy. Food is LIFE!" I said, and we both broke out into a fit of laughter.

After dinner, we ate dessert, and it was my favorite sugar cookies with cream cheese frosting. After we were done eating, we went back to our room and got ready for bed. When we were done, we got into bed, and Ivàn pulled me into him. 

"Buenos Noches Mariposa." Ivàn said

"Good Night baby"

Then I closed my eyes and fell into a deep and comfortable sleep.
