Violet's POV
After saying goodbye, I head back into the packhouse to check on Benjamin. It didn't take long to find my little man. My mom was tickling him and I could hear his adorable laughter a mile away. "Where's mommy's little man?" I shout as I walk into the living room. In a matter of seconds, he was in my arms.
"Mom, would you like to go for a walk with me and Benny?" I ask and she smiles brightly. "Of course! Let's go."
We walk in a comfortable silence, me pushing Benny in his stroller and mom beside me. "Mom." I softly call her name. "Mhmm?"
