Alex was a young boy who lived in a small village on the outskirts of a big city. He had a big dream to become a professional soccer player, but his family was poor and could not afford to buy him a soccer ball. One day, he found an old, worn-out ball lying in the bushes near his house. He took the ball and brought it home, feeling a sense of excitement and wonder.

As he entered his house, he showed the ball to his younger brother Carlos, who was only six years old. "Look, Carlos, I found a ball," he said with excitement.

Carlos looked at the ball and smiled. "Wow, Alex, it's so beautiful. Can we play with it?"

Alex replied, "Of course, we can! Let's go outside and start playing."

They both went outside to the nearby open field. Alex held the ball in his hands and looked at it with a sense of awe. "This ball is my ticket to my dreams," he said to himself.

He placed the ball on the ground and took a few steps back. He ran towards the ball, kicked it with all his might, and missed. The ball rolled away, and Alex felt disappointed.
