She a rouge

Darren's P.O.V

I'm sitting in my office head in my hands. I can't believe this. My mate is rouge. I can't have this I'm suppose to be alpha and finish this war. I'm suppose to protect my people from these monsters. Now this rouge shows up and she is my mate. These thoughts just keep replaying in my mind.

I didn't hear the pack doctor come into my office.

"Alpha, you called for me?" the doc asks.

"Yes, I have a girl in a cell down stairs. She is a rouge that turned herself into the gards about an hour ago. They threw a silver net onto her and burned her. I need to look over her. Full medical work up I need anything and everything you can tell me." I tell him in a cold harsh tone trying not to give myself away.

" Yes, Alpha but I would like to look at your hands first. They are burned as well. How did it happen. If you could tell me?" He holds out his hand . I put my hands out without protest.

The doc has been in the pack since before I was born. He was close to my father they grew up together. So he is like another uncle.

" I pulled the net off of her. I just had to stop the pain it was causing her." I look down at my desk.

"Place your elbows on your desk and place your palms up please."

I do ask he asks. As he steps up and opens his medical bag grabbing a small jar of cream and bandages and some shears. I look up into his face and know he has something he wants to ask.

"Go ahead and ask." I say catching him off gard.

"Okay then. You are trying to finish a war rouges have started. This rouge girl comes out of nowhere. All the gards have order from you to kill any and all rouges on sight. Why are you bringing her here and hurt yourself for this one?" he looks at me with an eyebrow raised at me.

I flinch at as he puts the cream on the burns.Once more when he wraps my hand with the bandages.

"I believ_ " I trail off. Looking down

"What was that? " he ask

"I believe she is my mate. That night was so odd . I can't explain. I had a feeling I had to go on a run. Like I had to be there in that moment. And all of a sudden Max just took over and I could control him at all." I stop feeling my anger building. I take a deep breathe to try to calm my shot nerves.

"So she is Luna?" the doc asks as he finishes my hands.

"NO. She can't be Luna or anything to this pack. She is a rouge. She has no right to that title." I slam my hands down on my desk. My chair slides out for under me as I stand in rage from his comment.

The doc takes a step back. Looking at the ground. As i look up feeling a pain in my chest for everything that had just came out of my own mouth. I move my hand over my heart gripping my chest. I fall back missing my chair hitting the cold hard wood floor behind my desk.

"Alpha, you must be more careful with your words. From the looks of it you do have a mate bond with this girl and it is a strong one at that. The moon goddess must have high hope or plans for you two. Now for my other charge down stairs. Seeing as you want no one else know she is here at the moment. I will need a proper medical bed heart monitor and a place for more medical supplies to stored by her room ." He says without much room for argument.

"It will all be done shortly. Thank you for all that you do. Give then men about 10 minutes and everything will be placed in a new room ready to go." I say picking myself up off the ground.

"Yes Alpha, It shouldn't take long. I do have one question. Has she been up and moving around" the doc asked has he leaves the room to head down stairs.

"No she hasn't moved. only none since words she says while asleep." I look down feeling horrible for how I met her.

"I see Alpha, I will do all in my power to save her . Just remember to give her a chance. When she comes around." he walks out the door closing it behind him.

I grab my chair and pull it back under me to sit at my desk to keep going threw old paperwork. Honestly just keeping my mind busy and off my mate down stair and a little on figuring out where my pack stands on land , members, and most of all our standing with the bank.

"How can you just sit here reading papers. Our mate is hurting. We need to be with her to help with her pain." Max hisses at me

"Max we can't just stop everything for her. She needs rest with or without us the." All i can fell is the pull to go down stairs. It is hard to fight the urge to go down stairs.

I need to get out of this office. Looking down at the clock six am. I decide it is time for some food.I run into the kichen where staff was already starting to make breakfast for the pack. I'm not super hungery but i gab an orange and some bacon off the kitchen island. Running up the hall to my room to get a shower and some work out clothes on for training. I need get all this pint up energy gone. i link with my beta to get ready to train. Running out of my room threw the large glass door that leads to padio with a small stone fince. As i clear the fince i shift for a quick run down to the training yard.

When I get down to the yard most of the the pack members are tairning. A lot of them are parents play fighting their childern. We try to keep teach everyone the with basic abilities to protect themselfs in an emergancy. With us being in a war we can't be to careful. Rouges will go after anyone even childern and I wont allow them to not know how to save themself if no adoult is around. They are our future after all. What kind of alpha would I be if I didn't have them learn.

I lay off to the side under a shade tree waiting for my beta. When I hear someone coming up behind me. All of a souden two pairs of hand are grabbing me. I jump up and spin to see some of the childen standing behind me smiling and giggleing. They pull out the wooden daggers they train with . Charging at me smiling. I jump to my left the right miss their assoult. As I twist around to face the kids the run at me again this time I dont have time to jump out of the way. They charge into me with the wood daggers hitting me in the side and front left lage. I yelp and fall to my side going lip and play died. The kids laugh and jump onto my stomach giggling the hole time. I lick them both in approval. A short time later a woman appeared to collect the children.

"What do you two think you are doing over here. you have missed six drills. I am sorry Alpha, now get back down to the mates. everyone else will be out shortly needing the space."

The kids run down to the mats. i get up from the ground and shake off the leaves and dirt off. the woman stars to walk off. I growl at her to stop her. I shift back and gab my shorts off the ground shake them off and put them on quickly.

"I'm proud of them and all you have done with them. I know we are in a war but they are doing well. Try to lighten up on them. I don't want them to loss their child wonder in the world." I state not really wanting an argument out of her.

"Yes Alpha, I don't want that." she says quickly. " But you have been away for years now. we have all lost some may people in the time. I lost my brothers in that time they were onl 6 and 10. I couldn't save them. All I could d was watch them die. While I was r***d. I live with it everyday. So please don't tell me not to be to hard on them." She wipes a tear from her check. "Both of them are the oldest child in the family. If we get attacked they get left to protect their siblings. To get them to the safe rooms we have now set up. But i refuse to let what happen to me happen to anyone else. That's why im hard on everyone." she stops.

I can tell she is fighting a breakdown. I at her. she is facing away from me at moment with her arms pulled up to her chest.walking a few steps close reaching out my and pulling her close to me and just holding her. Pulling back for a moment. I brush her blonde bangs from her red face and wipe the tears off her chen. I look into her brown eyes that are red from crying. She is a beautiful young girl about 5'5 and well built. i look down at her with a softened look.

"I'm sorry to hear what has happened to you and your family. I'm home now and i will end all of this one way or another. I promise as your Alpha and friend."
