A bright light shone on my face followed by shadows in the form of humans, I opened my eyes to find two men standing front of me, one familiar and the other not.
“She’s awake” the man in front of me tapped Gamma Ezra, he let out a little grunt.
His eyes tell me he had not expected to see me pull through this.
“Hello Luna, my name is Beta Kami” the man introduced himself.
I picked myself up and rested against the pillow.
“Nice to meet you Beta Kami” my throat was sore as I opened my mouth. I picked a bottle of water from the top of the drawer.
“How long have I been out?”
“A week” he informed me, his tone was polite, maybe because he was much older looking.
“Lyric” I called out his name expecting to see him.
“If I was able to survive then he should, “What about Lyric?”
