"You see it now?" Zi Yingjun coldly asked Jiang Mei Hua who stood reluctantly by the open door. He was treated by Jiang Clan's Medicine Elder. Thankfully, because of his consumption of Body Tempering Pill, he didn't receive any heavy injury. Zi Yingjun thought for a moment that he can use some pawns to increase his authority here. It's for the meantime in order to keep him safe. Jin Xuan Meng is already his new pawn within three days or so. As for Jiang Mei Hua, how useful can she be?
"Sorry." she meekly muttered. Jiang Mei Hua heard him sigh. She looked upwards to see him already dressed. Somehow, she finds him far interesting than the one she first met a year ago. That Zi Yingjun was silent but not indifferent. This Zi Yingjun is also silent but cold. It was because of his change that she wanted to take control of him. It will be an achievement if he follows her every word.
"Why don't we break this engagement first? You're willing to marry me and risk your studies in Jiang Clan's academy?" he stood up and moved his arm. Zi Yingjun took out a Body Tempering Pill and consumed it. His injuries healed quickly without anyone knowing. The issue is, once Jiang Mei Hua marries him after he finished his studies and she turns fifteen, she will no longer be able to enter their academy.

"... Mn! I'll do as you say." she felt bliss flood her heart to hear his suggestion. Jiang Mei Hua had been rushing both of them without thinking of her success. Who knew he will be this concerned for her?
Zi Yingjun remained silent in his room after Jiang Mei Hua left. He knew why Jiang Clan treasured her for a reason. Out of nowhere, he heard a girl's sigh. Zi Yingjun furrowed his brows and used his divine sense but he cant detect anyone. Another sigh came and that is when he knew it's from his dantian.
"Demon Celestial Emperor, how can you remain so evil even if I tried intervening you?" a gold lotus appeared in front of him and turned into a little girl. Her eyes were hollowed yellow, hair as dazzling as the sun and her dress is designed like a golden lotus. She holds a book that has no title nor decor.
"Time Lotus Essence?!" he was shocked to see it. Time Lotus Essence is a mysterious artifact and no one knew how to use it. Zi Yingjun was only able to keep the artifact for few months without enough study. He didn't expect it contains a spirit.
"Sigh, my first master is so evil..." she shook her head in sadness for herself. The first person she ever served is actually a pure yin cultivator. "How unfortunate. How sad, how unlucky of me."

"Gods? So there are immortals!" he didn't pay any attention to other details and only thought of himself. If there are gods, then that means there is really immortality!
"Listen you child!" she let out a string of gold ropes and covered Zi Yingjun's mouth to keep him from interrupting her. "You see, this world is in the brink of collapse. "What do you expect? My father is a bastard." Zi Yingjun thought as he rolled his eyes. He can't speak because of her suppression.
"You are allowed to destroy every sect, organization and forces standing in righteousness. You are allowed to become the overlord of this world. You are allowed to influence the fates of other as the variable chosen by the gods. But, you are not allowed to harm the child of fate until the right time comes." the girl read from the book before closing it. She assessed Zi Yingjun and nodded in satisfaction. "Though you are a good candidate as the first demon king of this world, you are already fated not to exceed the child of fate."
"I don't need to be a demon king if I can become an immortal." he said in his head then raised a brow. This child of fate, who will it be?
"I know what you are thinking and for the child of fate's safety, I wasn't given any information to who it will be. However, the child of fate will be guided by earth deities. He will become a prodigy and was fated to destroy you."
"We'll see about that." Zi Yingjun narrowed his eyes haughtily.
