"Hey!" Hu transformed to an adult tiger and growled at Sovereign Hei.
"Sovereign Hei, get back here." Zi Yingjun said as Sovereign Hei returned to their side. Ye Zen glared at them. That was close.
"Zi Yingjun, this is my sister, Ye Qinglan." without her permission, Ye Zen took off her mask. Zi Yingjun was a bit surprised to see a familiar face.
"No wonder you are kind to Zi Yan Yue. She looks like your sister." Zi Yingjun pointed out. Ye Qinglan mirrors Zi Yan Yue very much. He used his divine sense to check her cultivation. To his dismay, she is still in the Qi Refinement Stage. Why is Sovereign Hei interested to her then?
"Who? Anyway, why are you with my brother? And what is that shadow?" Ye Qinglan puffed her cheeks in anger. She was scared to death when Sovereign Hei went to her but Hu stopped him on time.

"Same as mine. We're twins." he raised his head and felt that their secret was exposed. Though they are twins, Ye Qinglan looks a lot like their grandmother on the paternal side while Ye Zen inherited his looks from their parents.
"As I see it, she is using her Authority lately." Sovereign Hei said then Ye Zen furrowed his brows. Ye Qinglan was flustered.
"No, I didn't! Ye Zen, don't believe this- this ghost!" Ye Qinglan really doesn't know what sort of existence Sovereign Hei is.
"Wait, she have an Authority?" Zi Yingjun asked in his thoughts. Sovereign Hei nodded to him. This is unusual. Zi Yingjun had never heard of humans with an Authority. Only beasts are allowed to since it is their skill and humans are not beasts in a literal way.
"Ye Qinglan! I told you not to use your Authority!" for the first time, Ye Zen completely lost his composure. Ye Qinglan shrank back. Hu conveniently turned his body bigger so Ye Qinglan can lean on him. Ye Zen rarely gets angry. But when he does, it is scary. "Are you rushing to die? Why do you keep disregarding my warnings? You don't want to live anymore?"
"I used it to find you, Ye Zen. I don't want to live in the palace anymore! You are not there so you never know what's happening! I thought you'd be happy to see me!" Ye Qinglan cried. Her tears and sobs caused Ye Zen to pause. He pinched his nose as Zi Yingjun tittered on the side.
"It actually feels wonderful to have no sister " Zi Yingjun chuckled, laughing at Ye Zen's misery. Ye Zen glared at him. He cleared his throat and stopped messing with them. "So, are you not glad she have an Authority? Its a blessing."
"No, its not." Ye Zen sighed. "Humans are not beasts, our spirits and souls are different from them. If a human gained an Authority, that means they broke the rules of existence. Those like her lived...shortly once they keep using their Authority."
