The rest of the scouting members gave a look of hindrance to Zi Yingjun. Zi Yanfan warned them not to show their disdain through a cold glare. They quickly masked the disgust on their faces. How can they not hate Zi Yingjun? He looked a lot like that bastard that shamed their whole clan and massacred their most capable elders. Zi Yanfan then turned to Zi Gu Wen. He was the Vanguard Elder and he needs to defend Zi Clan from any outside threats. Specially since winter is near. "Yingying, how old are you again? You look taller than before, ah." Zi Mingde asked in amusement.

"Uncle Mingde left Zi Clan for five years." Zi Yingjun lightly smiled. "What brought you here? And why is there a little girl with you?" he finally noticed Hai Liang who was hiding behind Zi Yingjun.

"Ehm, we are escorting a foreign continent's princess to Ye Empire. This is Crown Princess Hai Liang. And, we also have a guest in Zi Clan. This is Shi Zhao, a new friend of mine." Zi Yingjun introduced the two. Shi Zhao politely greeted back while Hai Liang continued to act meek.

"I see. You have a talented friend, huh." Zi Mingde saw through Shi Zhao's cultivation and was impressed. However, he didn't expect Zi Yingjun is still in the third rank. "Have a rest first. I had never seen you for years so let us have a talk regarding about Ah Yue and Zi Clan."

Zi Yingjun glanced at Hai Liang who just nodded in response. They settled there to have a rest and chat with each other. Hai Liang became more clingy than before while using a vulnerable charm.

"Zi Yingjun, are you going to guard again?" she asked before yawning. Shi Zhao who sat next to Zi Gu Wen felt goosebumps just seeing her yawn. Those nights he spent with her wasn't simple! He kept finding himself every morning, almost undressed! Who knew what Hai Liang did to him?

"Yes. You can sleep with Shi Zhao again." Zi Yingjun tactfully said. Shi Zhao had told him and Zi Gu Wen that someone or either Hai Liang was harassing him at night. Zi Gu Wen certainly doesn't want to experience that since he obviously wants Zi Yan Yue to only touch his body. As for Zi Yingjun, he is a devil at heart. He can be mischievous or cold at times. There is a chance he will let his demons go than be an angel just for a second. By means of demons, it was to scare her. If he does, who knew what will Hai Liang think of him? A p*****t? What else?

"Ehm, no need. I have to guard too." Shi Zhao immediately said. Hai Liang's eyes then settled on Zi Gu Wen.

"Oh, look at the time. Aunt Yanfan and Uncle Mingde are looking for me." Zi Gu Wen stood up to leave with Shi Zhao. The only ones left in front of the fire were Zi Yingjun and Hai Liang.

Zi Yingjun flinched when he felt a little dainty hand sneaking in his robe. He quickly caught her wrist and glared at her sharply. Hai Liang pouted in dismay.

"You must have hit your head or something. Why are you this abnormal?" Zi Yingjun pushed her hand away and straightened his robe. Should he demonstrate her his evilness or not? What if he scared her witless?

"I cant touch you because Im a kid?" she suddenly asked. Zi Yingjun pondered before nodding. "Oh. So that means I can fondle with you if I grow up? Is fifteen fine?"

"That will be three years from now. A lot of things will happen in the course of three years. Are you sure we will meet again?" he drew out a question to keep her away.

"Of course. I'll be a powerful crown princess by then. I can search for you in this continent easily. Hai Empire is hegemonic. We have a lot of connections within the five continents. But, less influence in the Central Continent." Hai Liang voiced out her plans. She felt sleepy once more and leaned on Zi Yingjun's arm.

Zi Yingjun silently sat there. He stared at her peaceful sleeping figure. Maybe when she fell from the sky, she damaged her brain which turned her perverted. Such cute face full of decisiveness. Well, everyone used to call her Lady Red in his past life before she even became Empress Xie. Lady Red because of how she easily seduced men. He hated her so much they keep quarrelling day and night. Zi Yingjun even dared to fool around with her maids but never agreed to serve her in bed. Hai Liang was humiliated until, she tied him up and 'doted' on Zi Yingjun.

Upon recalling that, Zi Yingjun formed a light smile. This girl will grow up like that crazy woman. But, he is fine with that. As long as he will never be the mistress again and she instead, becomes his doll marionette.
