(74) They Both Saw

"Meditate and concentrate with your surroundings. You will see lights in the darkness, those are qis. Be one with them in your consciousness and keep that concentration once you open your eyes. Only mortals with great perseverance and patience can accomplish it. If you cant, then you're no different to a turd in the gutter." Zi Yingjun explained as Hai Liang started meditating on the stone on the top level of the waterfall. He yawned for a bit before leaning on a tree. Zi Yingjun reminisced in boredom.
In the past, he was asked to choose a disciple. The demonic sect he governed have excellent disciples from the outer court to the core zone. Most of them are not even prodigies but they were able to enhance their cultivation through forbidden methods. Zi Yingjun have high requirements for an apprentice. He doesn't want those that relied on forbidden methods but the worthy ones were the skillful disciples. However, he came to realize they are also very scheming.

She hated righteous cultivators because they put on airs while bullying villagers that cant cultivate. The young girl even said without awareness that she would rather build a sect that goes against righteous path.
Then, Zi Yingjun took her into the demonic sect without telling her relatives. She was half scared, half fascinated by the people inside. The demonic sect depicted in history were full of unruly people without discipline. They can do anything they want, they can be brazen or promiscuous even in public. However, she was surprised to know the demonic sect she saw was well disciplined.
Zi Yingjun stopped his reminiscent. That was in the past. The demonic sect he inherited was bound by few but specific and strict rules. In his view, either righteous or demonic sect, they have nothing in difference. Only that the demonic sect is honest and blunt than the righteous sect that displayed a good profile yet inside, disciples fights and belittles each other to the point of killing one another.
"Hm? She's doing it, huh." he looked ahead to see Hai Liang concentrating seriously while moving herself. She followed the figures she can remember and lifted her hand. Streak of lights shot towards her palm. It formed into a beam that flew to a hill.

At the same time, Hai Liang fell backwards from the impact. She wasn't able to see the explosion she caused. Hai Liang cried to know she got soaked. Her eyes widened when she saw the damage she caused.
"If its this strong then the forbidden technique is even stronger!" Hai Liang thought.
"Continue mastering the technique. Afterwards, you should not forget to open your meridians. Only three more then your dantian will be formed." Zi Yingjun leaned off the tree and stretched his arms. He went down the waterfall before entering the cave. There are still minute spirits floating about though the hourglass he left are already filled with white glimmering spirits.
Zi Yingjun removed his clothes and dived into the spring. He checked the minute spirits in each hourglass. "Its not as strong as a zodiac beast or any Time Dao existence but it is good enough." Zi Yingjun placed his palm on the pillar of ice while holding the hourglass of it. The pillar suddenly cracked. He quickly caught a scythe-like ice with detailed carvings and a handle. Zi Yingjun transferred qi into the hourglass. Each rune symbols lit up and the minute spirits became a ghostly white liquid that filled half of the hourglass. He did the same thing on the other ice pillar and hourglass before taking them back in his space ring.
"Master, I opened up another meridian!" Hai Liang suddenly rushed in the cave. She froze on place to see Zi Yingjun naked in the spring. It was fortunate she can only see his upper body. "W-what the! You could have said you will take a bath here!"
"You can turn your back." Zi Yingjun nonchalantly said. He took a step on a stone with the thought of getting out the spring. Suddenly, Hai Liang recalled the same embarrassment when they met here. She refused to turn her back and playfully looked at Zi Yingjun.
"Master, get out of there. What is there to hide?" she copied what she can remember from the previous words of Zi Yingjun. Hai Liang thought he will feel ashamed. Since in her view, he is younger than her. Out of her expectation, Zi Yingjun emerged from the spring without much trouble. Her eyes broke like a fragile glass. She cant tell if it was worth the view or not. "Y-you! Are you insane?!"
"What? Its not like this is public." Zi Yingjun said while dressing up. Hai Liang muffled her scream of anger. No one can beat her master's shamelessness. He's hopeless for being shameless. Zi Yingjun didn't even bother wearing his upper clothes. He just grabbed his shirt and outer robe and placed it on his shoulder. "Princess, one of these days, you will also see a naked man. Don't act like it is inappropriate. Besides, we now both saw each others body. No need to be infuriated."
"Do you even know the word decency?" Hai Liang countered.
"Yes." he nodded simply.
"Then why are you like this?" she looked at him as if he is someone crazy. Zi Yingjun shrugged his shoulder.
"None of your business. Now get out of here and train again. Like I said, that is no big deal since you will see a man naked one day. Presumably your future husband." he walked pass her as Hai Liang gave up.
"Is he abnormal?" she thought. Hai Liang suddenly recalled what she saw again then smiled in a perverse way. "Though he is, his body is a good exchange for his brain!"
Sovereign Hei read through her thoughts and shook his head. Both of them are hopeless. They are both abnormal.
