"Cousin Wen!" Zi Yingjun quickly approached Zi Gu Wen. He is one of the five elders sent to escort Hai Liang. Just to escape Hai Liang's clinginess, he thought of introducing Zi Gu Wen to her. Right now, he kept receiving a look of suspicion from Shi Zhao and every members because of Hai Liang's behaviour. She keeps annoying him and never leaves his side. "The princess seems to like you." Zi Gu Wen laughingly said as Zi Yingjun looked helpless.
"Zi Yingjun! Where are you going?" Hai Liang caught up and left Shi Zhao behind. She got in between the two before assessing Zi Gu Wen. They locked gazes but then, Hai Liang swept her eyes over him. "Oh. Are you also a Zi Clan elder? You look too young to be one. After all, the rest are grown up and old hags. What's your name?"
"Zi Gu Wen." he shortly answered. Zi Gu Wen noticed Zi Yingjun's sly smile.
"Well, Brother Wen, the princess seems to like you either." Zi Yingjun grinned. He finally got rid of her! As expected, any beautiful man that exceeded or reached her standards can keep her at bay. Zi Gu Wen is the youngest elder in Zi Clan and as a cultivator rise through ranks, their lifespans grows longer. An ordinary mortal have a hundred years of their lives but cultivators or immortal descendants are able to reap a decade each realm reached. Thus, Zi Gu Wen still looks young as if he was among Zi Yingjun's peers.
"Huh. It would have been pleasing if all Zi Clan young masters looked like you or Zi Yingjun. But anyway, I heard you're engaged to Zi Yingjun's cousin so I'll pass the temptation." Hai Liang waved her hand and pulled Zi Yingjun back. She was smiling cheekily but Zi Yingjun's face was dark. He forgot. Hai Liang was destined to be clingy to her favorite men. No matter how her main husband or consorts complained about the attention she is giving to Zi Yingjun, she never flinched and even dared to desert them then flee to Zi Yingjun's side in the Central Continent. Hai Liang was extremely possessive too. That is where her clinginess came from. He was unable to shake her off until he found someone to fool around with. Hai Liang no longer intervened and waited for him after knowing he have his own women.
As of now, he doesn't want to enter that sort of harem-like life again. It was sort of boring even if each woman have their own amusing qualities. They've walked through miles and the sun has sunken. Their group settled in a secluded forest that was scouted before so it was assured no demon or spirit beasts are around. Zi Yingjun, Zi Gu Wen and Shi Zhao stood guard for the night. However, Hai Liang refused to sleep.
"Get inside and just sleep!" Zi Yingjun reached his limit and pointed to her tent. Hai Liang shook her head. She crossed her arms and puffed her cheeks.
"I told you I won't sleep unless you sleep with me!" she shouted back like a child experiencing tantrum. The two other young men exchanged glances. What exactly did Zi Yingjun do that he even bewitched a little girl?
"Why me? Are they also not qualified?" Zi Yingjun suddenly turned to Zi Gu Wen and Shi Zhao. Hai Liang blinked and thought for a moment.
Hey, hey, hey! What qualified does he mean? Is he saying they should sleep with her? Isn't that too suspicious?!
"Shi Zhao, you come with me." Hai Liang hooked her fingers while smiling deviously. "Come here or I'll demand to your Ye Empire for your head!"
Shi Zhao felt helpless. Hai Liang pulled him into the tent, his gaze to the other two was asking for help. Zi Yingjun and Zi Gu Wen sighed in relief.
"That princess likes to fool around with men at such a young age. She's not even afraid if one of us takes advantage of her." Zi Gu Wen spoke and returned to their spot.
"Imagine if she grows up. She'll never be a concubine but men will be her consort." he recalled those pitiful men surrendering at her feet. It was fortunate he was immune to romance and never fell for her seductions. Thus, he never became a consort! This empty relationship they had gave him an advantage to defeat Hai Liang after the war they created in the Eastern Sea. It was one of the most memorable chaos in his past life. One of her favorite consort died and then at the same time, Zi Yingjun killed her second husband to provoke her.

"Her face is quite decisive." Zi Gu Wen broke Zi Yingjun's thoughts. He looked back to Zi Yingjun and remembered a painting of Zi Xian. "Its like she is Aunt Zi Xian. She also looks decisive. At twelve, Aunt Zi Xian was already called Enchantress Zi Xian. Because she can fool anyone with her face."
