(9) Earning Fortune

"Hey, you two. Help me pull these." Zi Yingjun dropped the two ropes he is holding just as he came out of the gate. The two guards who saw him having bruises on his white jadeite face frowned lightly. What could have happened? The last time he exited, Zi Yingjun was unscathed but this time, even his clothes have some slight ruins.
The two guards didn't dare to ask and went forward. They stared on the rope made of vines. It is a thick rope and judging by its looks, Zi Yingjun made it himself.
"Quick. Bring it to my dorm." Zi Yingjun ordered. He sniffed his arm and upon smelling it was unlikely, he longed to have a bath. "Don't just stand there." using a slightly annoyed tone, the guards immediately moved and pulled the ropes with both hands. They were stunned from how heavy it was. How can a young man with a gentle appearance like him pulled such weight all over the hunting ground?!
It is no longer a problem for Zi Yingjun. Since he used the Body Tempering Pills originating from from the Ren Xieye Grass, his strength already surpassed those im the fourth rank of Qi Refinement Stage. The two guards were in the third rank and pulling it is really hard. They thought Zi Yingjun tied the rope of vine into a rock. Pulling ten Spotted Panther throughout the academy until the male dorms had caused a lot of commotion. Taking out the Tempering Flame, he burnt all remains to ashes. Zi Yingjun let out a turbid air. He first removed his outer robe and boots, flinging them to the ground then entered his quarters. The smell of blood coming out from his body is way too strong. He started getting rid of it then wore a new set of clothes. The blood soaked garments he used were once again set into fire.
Placing the hides in a sack, Zi Yingjun made preparations in leaving the academy tonight and used the remaining time to sleep. Once the moon is up, he wore a cloak to cover his appearance and left the place. The village's market is still open even at night. He chose a*****e selling clothes made of animal skins and completed a deal for the night. Zi Yingjun have fifty spirit crystals and after swindling the store owner, their are additional five more.
After going back to the academy, he didn't return to his dorm. Zi Yingjun went to the female dorms and set out to find where Zi Yan Yue lived. In just a short time, he spotted her outside the quarters. She is chatting with a female student beside a man-made pond. Zi Yingjun patiently waited until the female student left.
"Zi Yan Yue." a deep voice called out. Zi Yan Yue felt it was familiar as she turned around. To her surprise, Zi Yingjun is standing nearby. This is the female dormitory, how dare he intrude it?
"You- Yingjun, how-?"
"Shhh." Zi Yingjun noticed her tone getting louder. He quickly pulled her behind the stone while covering her mouth with his hand.
A group of female students passed by, laughing in amusement in their own conversation. Zi Yingjun glanced at Zi Yan Yue. He removed his grasp and noticing her red face. It lightly made him frown.
"H-hey. Yingjun, you're too close." she lowered her head upon saying this. Their position is really inappropriate since she is being pressed on the stone while they are separated with only few centimeters apart.
"I know." he lightly smiled. Zi Yan Yue was stunned at his behaviour. "Anyway, I came here to give you something." Zi Yingjun took out a satchel and placed it in her grasp.
"Yingjun, these are spirit crystals! Where did you get this much?" her eyes widened. She already knew it was spirit crystals because of its shard like shape. Doubt roused in her heart, thinking he must have done something illegal.
"Don't look at me like that!" he moved back and leaned on the stone just next to Zi Yan Yue. Zi Yingjun kept his gaze on her and smiled with fake honesty that the young girl was unable to see. Even in just a faint smile, Zi Yan Yue's heart was sent beating fast!
