Morning came sooner than expected and Marcus woke with his arms wrapped tightly around a snoring mass of hair and flesh. He was startled for a moment, surprised that it wasn’t James in bed beside him, but then it all hit him and he remembered everything. A smile crept over his face. He wanted to snuggled back under the covers with Michael, but once he glanced at the digital clock on the bedside table, he knew that that would be impossible. It was already nearing eight. So, instead of wrapping his body back around Michael, he tucked the teen in tightly and headed for the shower.
When he came back out, hair dripping in nothing but his jeans with a towel wrapped around his neck, Michael was sitting up in bed, knee up, twisting a strand of hair around his finger. “Morning.” Marcus said with a smile, sitting down on the edge of the bed to kiss Michael gently on the mouth. “Did you sleep well?”
“Like a baby!” Michael laughed tiredly, turning his eyes to look at Marcus. “Are you getting ready to leave?”
Marcus nodded. “Shorty, I have to get back before my friend starts to worry.” He bent over the end of the bed and emptied the pockets of his dirty jeans.
“That’s what was in your bag!” Michael chimed, pointing at Marcus who felt himself blush. “You were already planning to sleep with me when you came up here, that’s why you had condoms and lube ready!”
Marcus felt like a teenager that had just been busted with his porn. He couldn’t deny the fact that he had been hopeful and ready if the chance came up. He nodded in defeat. “I was being hopeful, nothing more.”
“Whatever.” Michael shrugged and climbed nude from the bed. “I’ll leave you alone for a bit and wash up, I smell of you and sex.” He gingerly walked towards the bathroom, Marcus noticing a slight limp.
The elder smirked and began pushing his dirty clothes into his bag. “Would that be so bad?” He grabbed his phone and tossed it on the side, shakin out his hair before combing it back and pulling his sweater over his head. He’d probably get pneumonia after walking in the snow with wet hair, but he had to leave. Marcus was pulling on his boots when he noticed his phone flashing with a single message. It was from James from eleven-twenty three last night, reading simply:
Be careful and return to me safely.
Marcus felt his breath catch, his hand coming up to his mouth. Did he know? That was impossible, he never said anything to anyone. He seriously had to get out of here now. He was about to call out to Michael when he appeared in the doorway of the bathroom in nothing but a pair of jeans.
“It’s almost sad.” He whispered. “I waited so long for you and finally got to taste you. Now I have to let you go.” Michael gestured to the phone. “I saw your expression fall when you read the message, is it from the guy you were thinking about last night?”
Shamelessly, he nodded, finishing dressing and stood. “He’s an important person in my life.”
Michael nodded. “I hope that I find someone that important to me one day.”
“You will, just keep an open mind and unfaltering heart.” Marcus slipped on his coat and shouldered his bag. “I guess I’ll get going.” He made for the door without a second thought to Michael.
“Wait!” Michael rushed up to Marcus with tears in his eyes and the older man shuttered. He knew where this was going and had hoped to avoid it with Michael, but he waited patiently, ready to let him down gently. Their eyes met and Marcus felt his heart melt. “I won’t say it, I will never say it!” Michael wept, shaking his head as tears fell down his flawless cheeks. “I only want to ask you one more thing before you leave me.”
“What?”
Michael wiped furiously at his tears hating them. “You didn’t leave one mark on me at all last night, not a single mark as proof that we were ever together!” Before Michael even finished his statement, Marcus knew exactly what he wanted.
He took Michael by the shoulders and forced him to the wall by the door. The boy gasped and Marcus dropped to his knees, putting his face level with his favorite part of the male body, the hip bone. His tongue shot out to lap at the skin before he sank his teeth in the tender flesh.
Michael cried out, but his cry was silenced when the breath was knocked from his lungs when Marcus snaked his hand into the back of his waistband to pierce his entrance. As he sucked and lapped at his hipbone, his fingers jarred the tender spot in his body and he came without his c**k ever being touched. “Marcus.” He panted, eyes drifting closed as he felt lips touch his own.
“I’ll never forget what we shared last night.” Marcus said before kissing Michael hard one last time.
Marcus was gone before Michael even recovered from his orgasm, the bliss bleeding into sadness and the tears began to flow. “I’ll never say it.” He wept. “In this madness, I’ll never say it.” Michael fell to the floor, tears consuming him. “I love you.”
Marcus made it back to Colorado Springs by noon and was shocked to see James standing on the porch of his family’s home as he pulled up the drive, as if waiting for him. As he climbed out of his car and reached for his bag, he was silent and didn’t say a word until he was before James.
“You’re up early.” The brunette said shyly, his eyes focused on the snow at their feet.
James sighed, lighting a cigarette and inhaling deeply. “I never went to sleep.” He said, something amiss to anger in his tone. Marcus swallowed hard, knowing that James was going to blow up at him. James had a way of finding out whenever Marcus screwed up. He just had to wait for his punishment, but silence hung in the air for a few minutes before James growled. “Fine, I won’t ask any questions since you’re not offering anything, but I need to know one thing.”
Once more, Marcus swallowed hard. “What is it?”
James approached Marcus and the brunette expected to be hit for his stupidity. He was shocked when James embraced him and pulled him to his chest. “Did you get it out of your system?” His words were as tender as the hand that stroked his hair.
Marcus nodded into his chest and returned the embrace. “Yeah, it’s out of my system.” It felt like a weight had been lifted from his shoulders. He thought that James would have been angry and lash out of him, thought that he would be condemning, but he wasn’t. James was gentle and understanding.
“Good.” James pulled back and tossed his lit cigarette to the ground and stumped it out with the heel of his boot. “I told your parents that you would be gone until tonight, so they got together with my parents and went shopping.” James glanced at his watch. “That gives me at least four hours to punish you before our families come home.”
Marcus gasped as James took him by his arm and forced him inside the house. “Punish me for what?” As if he had to ask.
“ For last night, you left me worried and frustrated, so now I have to take out that frustration on you.”
Marcus bit his lip in a mixture of fear and excitement. He knew how James liked to punish him. It bordered on torture. He sighed, he deserved this.
So much for James being understanding. He was going to last night’s Gaian madness seem like a day at the park.
God have mercy on his soul
