Sin walked up to the girl who stepped away from him a little.
"You know there's a ladder, right?"
Thai glanced at the ladder with fear, "Well, that's easy for you to say when you're not afraid of height".
"You're afraid of height?", he chuckled and held the ladder, "I could help you, what's in it for me?"
"I never asked for your help, dummy", she stared at him incredulously for a moment and crossed her arms. Sin chuckled and climbed the ladder anyways and stared at her, "What kind of book do you want, Amor?"
"My name is Thai and I want a full history on goblins, elves, demons, vampires, angels, fairies, leprechauns, werewolves and mermaids", she corrected him with a look of annoyance. "Are you from Thailand?", Sin looked down, quick enough to see her roll her eyes and turned back to searching for the books. "It's just a name. I'm a Korean and from my point of view, you seem to be a German".
"No", he threw two books to her, "Amor, I'm an Italian".
"My name is Thai"
"Bello, I know "
" Then stop calling me 'Amor'",Thai picked up the books that had somehow fallen on the floor and looked at him.
" Whatever you say, Amor"
Thai ignored him and asked him," Are you an Italian mafia? " He jumped off the ladder, startling her with eight other books in his hand and a smirk on his lips.
" Why do you ask? "
" The piercings and bruises", she pointed to her lips and cheeks and then to his left arm," And the tattoos. You also look cold hearted and menacing, quite the devil". She turned and walked, ushering him to follow her. She could see that the book he was holding was very heavy but he didn't seem to care and how was he able to jump that high to the ground with those books.
She was almost shocked when she got to the designated table.
She hadn't expected whatever was going on here.
The was tension in the air.
" Well, hello there, boys, fancy meeting you guys here", she took a seat next to Orion and placed the book in front. "Hello, Whitney, how are you?", a British accent sounded in her ear and she turned to the boisterous boy next to an unfamiliar cyan haired girl who was also staring at her. "My name is Thai Williams, not Whitney", she corrected but was asked by all of them.
"Are you from Thailand?"
Enxa, Kika and Lexith along with Sin were the only ones not surprised. "No. I'm a Korean and it's just a name, okay?", she took a deep breath when they nodded in sync." By the way, I'm Anaitis Oceanus, offering Arts and Design, here at Shanghai ", she took the offered the hand from the blunette with a smile and turned to Kika. "Kika, I found the books you asked for".
"All by yourself?", the brunette asked shocked, with suspicion. "No, he helped me, more liked did all the job", she pointed at Sin who chuckled as she glared at him. She had thought he did not know how to talk. [And here I thought you were dumb or a toddler who didn't know how to talk], she huffed as she pushed some of the books to Kika, who laughed a little. She stared at her before looking to see all of them with smiles on their face. Vladimir, Anaitis and Athan were trying hard to hold their laughter but broke into fits of laughter after trying so hard. Sin had a cold look as she glanced at her and crossed his arms in a domineering way.
"Is something funny?"
"No, just thought about Kika's cute way of sneezing", Lexith answered as the three laughed even harder thinking about it. "Hey, I love how I sneeze , okay. It's nature's gift", Kika glared at Lexith who raised her hands in defeat. She opened the books and looked through them seriousness. "So, what are you boys doing here anyway?", Enxa asked, staring at them and swatting Athan's hand away as he poked her cheeks. "I'm real and not fake, pixie".
"Yeah, I noticed but your cheeks are so soft",he replied about to poke her cheek again but she glared at him and turned her attention to the boys waiting for her question to be answered.
"We want to talk to Kika about a serious matter", Caldor answered, staring at the girl who looked up at him and turned to reading the books in front of her. "About what?", Anaitis asked, her curiosity getting the better of her. " You know they won't tell you, Ana. Just give up. Curiosity killed the cat , you know?", Lexith offered an advise, as the once excited girl frowned.
"But satisfaction brought it back", Kika added, staring at Anaitis who glanced up with hope.
"We just need her, not you, little fish", Athan dimmed the little light she had and stood up, along with the rest of the boys as they stared at Kika who sighed.
"Why me though?"
"Cause you are the smartest among them", Vladimir replied without a thought. The other girls turned to him almost at the same time with an upset look.
