"He meant you've read quite a lot of books so you may know", Athan quickly stepped in, just in time to save the British boy's head from execution.
Athan pulled Kika by her wrist and left, with the rest following him. " You and I are in a war, Gov'nor", Lexith threatened Vladimir with a fierce gaze before he left.
She sure hated him to the bone.
"Hey, you're hurting me", Kika pulled back her wrist which had turned pink and sore and stared at her bleeding knuckles that stung in pain, "See what you did, Smartass".
"Better clean that blood up, princess", Orion advised, glancing at Vladimir who was staring at her fingers.
"He has self control, I'm sure"
"And how do you know that?", Caldor stepped closer to her then took her hand. "The Royal Blood Book of Vampires, section 1, chapter 19, page 53, line 2 states that all royal vampires at the age of 5 to be powerful ", Kika explained, staring at her hand. She was the only supernatural being who couldn't heal at all and takes time to recover from wounds.
"What happened?".
"Punched a wall out of anger", she replied to Athan's question, observing Caldor stitch her wound up with a bandage he got out of no where .
"Wait but how did you read that line from the Vampire book? ", Vladimir asked, with a suspicious look.
She giggled nervously and racked her brain to find an excuse.
" Uh, just saw a picture from one of the history books ".
She pulled her hand from Caldor's grip.
"Thanks so how do I help you guys?"
"How many books have you read from the supernatural Sects? ", Orion asked chanting a chair and sat on it." You shouldn't use your magic in the mortal realm as it will make the siren find you ", Kika looked at the chair, envious of what he did but shook off the thought," I've read all the books in the supernatural except some books from the Elf Sect".
" What did you read about the mortal that was going to save one of the magic? ", Orion got up and pointed to chair and her.
Kika sighed and sat down as they circled around her.
" That she will defeat the siren and also that she will not share her location with only us but other evil beings apart from the demons and vampires ".
She glanced at Vladimir and Sin, who stared at her.
" And? Will she be able to see through our illusions apart from other mortals?".
"No, she's just a normal human. The only person to see through an illusion you guys make is a supernatural being including a magicless goblin", she quickly denied Vladimir's question and looked down disappointed in herself.
The boys caught up on her change of emotion and exchanged looks.
" You know know Thai saw Sin's real eye colors, right? What does it mean? ".
Kika nodded and got up," I've also been thinking about but we have to know if it's only him so I'll get an explanation . Find out if she can see all of yours also and report it to me. I have to go ".
Caldor held her back before she could leave and pointed to wrist.
She glared at Athan who turned away and whistled." I'll band it up. I'll be fine and don't act like you care about me great prince of the elves ", she coldly replied and pulled her hand away, glaring at him and walking away, pulling her jacket to jacket to cover her wound.
"I feel pity for her. She's always trying so hard to be perfect for her mother and the sect yet she's the only one without powers", Athan sighed placing a hand on Caldor's shoulders as he watched her go.
"So where do you want to go again and those books need help?", Lexith glanced at Thai who was struggling to hold all the ten books in her hand but she couldn't be of any help because she was also holding some art stuffs.
She was trying not to break them up.
[Only if I could use magic]
[Don't even think about it, Witchy. Struggle with whatever it is], Anaitis voice sounded in her head and she rolled her eyes.
She forgot that they could use telepathy too.
"Oh, I'm so sorry. Didn't see you there".
She looked beside her to see Thai on the ground with the books sprawled to the floor and a boy helping her pick it up.
"Oh, hey, Lexith, how are you?", he turned to the purple haired girl who was staring at them, forgetting about the things that were tempting to fall from her hands. He got up holding seven books in his left arm while holding out his hand to Lexith who stared at him disdainfully.
Thai glanced between them and broke the tensed silence in the air.
"Hello, I'm Thai Williams and no I'm not from Thailand", she added, taking his outstretched and shook it before giving Lexith a look.
She didn't know what happened between them and she wasn't ready to make enemies on her first week at this university. "Oh, hi. I'm Jax Klein, major in Criminology and you? ", he introduced himself, bowing his head a little.
" Medicine and linguistics. Nice to meet you ".
Lexith turned to her with a questionable look but said nothing, trying to balance the items.
" Umm... Do you need any help, Spellkins? ",Jax offered.
