Snapping her eyes upward, she watched as a dark shadow crossed his form. It reeked of death and destruction. She could feel the vision seeping into her skin, a warning of the c*****e to come. The mass of demons slithered above the guardian like a dark cloud, a hideous nightmare moving over all of them, threatening to consume them, unlike any nightmare she’d ever experienced.
Kamui’s direction of sight changed as his bottom lip quivered in an almost childish anger. Everyone was fighting and dying, and nothing he did seemed to help. The ones he considered his family fell one by one. He should’ve fought harder. He still could. His vision began to swim as he looked toward the one who had caused it all.
‘Hyakuhei…’ Kamui’s sparkling eyes flashed in anger as he prepared himself.
