Later that night, instead of arriving at the small hut, they found themselves at Sennin’s village sanctuary. It was a huge structure the old man used as an infirmary for the humans that had been wounded by the demons that plagued the area. Sennin had been with Shinbe for over an hour. Finally announcing that he’d done all he could to help the guardian he let the others in to see him.
Kamui and Suki, along with Kaen, had retreated back into one of the far rooms to sleep, leaving Toya and Kyoko with Shinbe, who’d yet to wake up from his now fitful sleep.
