Today's my date to the zoo with Cayden.
Just waking with the thought of it makes me euphoric.
I'm going on a date !!!
I covered my eyes with my arm and turned my head towards my closet. I've already hung the outfit I planned to wear today.
It's a white crop top along with a pastel blue and white skirt, and I matched it with a gold triangular necklace.
I sat up and made my way out of my room, where, unfortunately, my mom sits.
"Audrey, I have to talk to you." She says.
That's not good.
"What is it, mom?" I asked her.
She sips her coffee and sat on the couch. "Sit down."
Confused, I did as I was told.
"Your father and I... are getting a divorce."
She looked at me and c****d her head to the side, probably waiting for me to respond.
But I can't.
