Ajax gently runs the back of his hand down the side of my face. “You’ve been quiet.”  We were already walking back to the house after Ajax said a few brief announcements to the pack and leaving Jeremy to do his own. An echo of Jeremy’s voice could still be heard from where we were. He was reading out a list of everyone’s duties for the week and their training schedules. The training schedules sounded longer than the list of duties.  “I’m fine.” I quietly told him, doing my best to smile, but it didn’t quite reach my eyes.  Ajax’s amber eyes narrowed, looking around. “Did something happen?
