“I suppose it is.” I said, unable to meet June’s stare.  She looked so lost, so horribly used and I couldn’t explain. I didn’t know what to say.  June stands from her seat, excusing herself, but I try to get to her, willing myself to explain what was happening, what I was trying to do, but nothing sounded right.  How do I explain that I was stuck? That I had no escape?
