Maybe she had overdone it and now, he had acted as if he was back to his normal self.
All she wanted was for him to open his mouth and tell her what they were, even down to his feelings. And all he did was walk away to his room. It made her heart ache to the point she didn’t know when she started to cry.
She hated this. She hated everything and hated her sister for putting her into such a mess. Now, she was falling in love with her jerk of a husband and he did not love her back. She felt like kicking herself, hitting her body until the pain from it went away. She wanted him to be at the door, knocking and telling her everything she needed to hear. She wanted it to be like in the movies but this was reality.
