Chapter 9 First Introduction

Others POV

Where are you going, Little One?

Lorenzo's voice stopped Orchid from going farther.

He entered the office with his own glory. The tight fitted suit was hugging him perfectly.

Lorenzo was a well built man, almost 6'3" tall, presenting a dominating aura that forces people to submit.

His one hand was in his pocket and another one was holding a paper bag. He took a step forward and stood just before Orchid.

Orchid initially took a step back. A frown formed on her angry face. She was 5,10", quite a tall, strong girl. But she won't lie, she became a little intimidated by Lorenzo's presence. His voice literally gave her goosebumps.

She wasn't afraid of Lorenzo but the way Lorenzo looking at her was so intense, almost making her slip. It was like she got possessed by his captivating eyes. She stumbled to form any words.

"Who is he?" Orchid wondered.

Judging by his aura, he might be a powerful man.

Besides he had everything that a woman die for. Perfectly combed short thick black hair, sharp jaw line, pointed nose, cherry lips, everything screamed perfection.

And His eyes, they were golden blue. God They were so electrifying. They held so much power and dominance.

Orchid could not help but stared at them. She found herself getting lost in the dazzling ocean.

"Thank God you are here." Austin sighed, bringing her out of the spell. She averted her eyes.

Faint blush spread to her cheeks as she caught herself checking out this Mr. Handsome. Orchid's frown depended. She never acted like that before.

"Get a grip, Orchid. you have seen better." Orchid thought.

"Take this and change your clothes."

Lorenzo held the paper bag out for Orchid without sparing Austin a glance.

"And who are you?"

Orchid raised an eyebrow as he folded her arms. She didn't take the bag. She waited for his reply.

Who was he, ordering her? If they thought they could control her by ordering, then they were being delusional. Orchid thought.

Lorenzo chuckled. His little one is feisty. Interesting..

Orchid was getting annoyed by Lorenzo's intense stare as if he was observing all her moves and it made her uncomfortable.

"He is my best friend Lorenzo Luther King."

Austin replied, coming forward with a first aid kit.

He felt relief and concern both. At least Lorenzo would able to help her to convince. God knew, how she will react after knowing the truth.

Orchid spare a glanced at Austin then Lorenzo. "Whatever, Thanks for the offer but I need to go." Orchid walked past to him.

It didn't matter to her, who he really was. All she wanted to leave. Austin just about to run after her But Lorenzo's next statement forced both Orchid and Austin to come to a halt.

"Are you sure you want to go out like that, Little one? You are not trying to seduce anyone, right!" Orchid glared at him but Lorenzo only raised an eyebrow.

He was loving teasing Orchid.

"Don't talk to her like that?" Austin side eyed Lorenzo only to get a glare from him.

Lorenzo was pleased that Austin finally grew some backbone to defend his sister.

"What are you talking about?" Orchid gritted her teeth. How dare he insult her like that. She also felt flutter that his brother was really defending her but why.

She confusedly looked at Austin, who sighed. Austin didn't know how to say it. So he chose the safest way.

"I- I , you- sigh....You need to change your clothes Kiddo, or else you will get sick." Austin pleaded sweetly.

He didn't know how to interact. They had been away from each other for so long and now baby sister all grown up.

Lorenzo chuckled and sat on the couch with arrogance. Austin eyed Lorenzo but he only shrugged it.

"No I will be just fine. You don't need to worry."

"No Kiddo wait. umm I think you should change."

Orchid now getting irritated. She then turned to leave but saw her reflection on the glass.

Immediately her checks became red. Her pajamas were wet from the rain clinging on her body tightly, her black bra can be visible through her white blouse, her hair was messy and wet, she was wearing shorts from last night. It was showing her slender glossy legs.

Her hand is bleeding, making her white pale skin more enhancing. That's why Lorenzo saying those nonsense. She became very self conscious all of sudden.

She had always been a private person. Even if she was a designer, she liked to wear conservative clothes. She was so worried about Oli that she forgot about her dress in the morning.

Orchid narrowed her eyes. This p*****t. Lorenzo smiled faintly, looking straight to her eyes.

"Where's the bathroom?" Scoffing Orchid asked Austin who was nervous as hell.

Austin signed her the way. She snatched the bag from Lorenzo's hand storms in the bathroom.

" That was insane."

Austin said to Lorenzo but smiles anyway . He sat beside him.

"I know." Lorenzo mummered. He just wanted her to change clothes. He didn't care what she wore or how she wore it. As long as His little one was happy, he was happy.

"She changed a lot bro." Austin shaked his head.: " I almost can't recognize her anymore, She is so daring , so feisty, so confident and fearless, exactly the opposite of the kiddo I knew." Austin paused.

"What will I do now Lorenzo? Did you see her , she denied to know me, denied to my Kiddo. She must be hate me now." Austin rubbed his face in frustration.

"Give her time , Austin. I am sure she will come around." Lorenzo encouraged, although he knew Austin messed up big this time.

"I feel like d**k, worse brother ever. I genuinely hope she forgives me." Austin wished staring at the ceiling.

"She will. We will make sure of that." Lorenzo stated.

“Yes. This time I will not have myself let her down. I'll become the brother she deserves. " Austin promised, determined to achieve his sister trust again.

"You better be or this time I will be the one beating the s**t out of you." Lorenzo threatened.

"Yeah yeah.."

Austin knew Lorenzo wasn't baffling especially after the arrangements between the two family. He would really kill everyone if they ever try to hurt her, starting from Rob.

Both of them got lost in their own thoughts.

Austin wondered, If his Kiddo going to forgive him. Different ways of winning her love back. Where was she in these years? Why didn't she contact him?

Then who was Oli ? She must be very important to her. Orchid said Rob tried to force himself on her. He just hope Rob didn't cross the line or else he would kill him with his own hand.

The worst thing people could do was forcing someone, even if it's our worst enemy, we should never violate their dignity.

The washroom door opened revealing a freshly dressed Orchid. Before Orchid could say or do anything,

Lorenzo made her sit on the couch where he was sitting then kneel down in front of her. He started dressing her wounded hand.

Austin swiftly got a towel, and began to dry her hair.

All these happened in a swift motion that Orchid was too stunned to say or do anything. By the time Orchid proceeded everything Lorenzo finished cleaning her hand, now bandaging it.

"What are you...." Orchid tried to withdraw her hand from Lorenzo's grip at the same time look at Austin but both of them exclaim in sync.

"Stay still "

Orchid flattered her eyes, she felt like a child who has done something wrong.

Just then someone knocked on the door. Revealing Mark and Jenny. Mark didn't expect both of his boss will be here with the girl.

Jenny also tagged along seeing Mark coming. She didn't have the guts to come alone.

But they didn't expect to see what they were witnessing.

Their president was kneeling before a girl's hand and their CEO drying her hair. It was a scene to die for.

Jenny nearly tripped herself if not Mark held her on time, she would have on her butt right now.

"It's done." Lorenzo got up, then clean his hand. He gracefully sat beside Orchid like nothing happened here..

Instantly the room's atmosphere changes to cold. Orchid looked at Mark and Jenny. She felt uncomfortable under their curious gaze. She slowly stood up but Austin made her sit again. Orchid gave him a hard glare.

"Speak". Lorenzo ordered calmly.

He was actually irritated but didn't show it on face. They ruined his beautiful time with his Little One.

Mark was the first one to respond:

" Sir, everything is taken care of and Rob was sent to the 'Loss House ' and Mr. King called, he couldn't get you on the phone."

"Scram".

Mark didn't even wait for Lorenzo to finish, got out from there.Jenny trembled under her boss's gaze.

" S-sir, Mr. Jackson, I mean Mam's lawyer is here. Do I s-send him in?"

Jenny felt stupid to ask this , she should have informed him on call why she has to come here. Actually she was curious to know who this mysterious lady was but now she regreted it seeing her president's mood. She would have known this better.

"Tell him to wait." Austin said frowning.

Jenny didn't need to tell her to leave, she flew from there.

Orchid stood up too despite Austin's protest. "My lawyer will explain everything to you."

This time she didn't bother to listen or wait she just ran from there.

"Kiddo,, wait..." Austin harried behind her but Orchid already left.

'Let her go". Lorenzo stopped Austin, who gave him a worried look.

"I didn't even get her address or anything man."

"I have handled that. Her lawyer is here. Let's just meet him. Take it slow.

The more we force her to stay the more she will try to escape."

" I owe you man.". Austin breath in relief.
