I stood outside her house and to be honest, I was really nervous. I paced back to and fro in front of my car, wondering if this night was going to end well. My father invited Isabelle to dinner just so he could see her. I knew they were bound to meet at some point but I didn't think it'd be this soon and I wasn't even prepared for this. I didn't even want to tell her about it in the first place and just wanted to reject it on her behalf but I didn't and now I was regretting it.
