I was fidgeting with my fingers, feeling really anxious and guilty at the same time. Damn it, why was he so silent. He hasn't said anything since we left the the silence was so suffocating. I side glanced at him and his expressionless gaze was still fixed on the road focused on driving. He's been driving for so long without saying anything and I was wondering if he was still affected by what his father said. I never thought that his silence would give me so much fear. It was quite ironic how I'd get annoyed by most of the things he would say before but now I felt like I could do absolutely anything just to hear him speak.
