I went into my mates dream because I felt sick last night, like something was up. "Carissa."
She walked to me. "Scorch. Why are you here?"
I caressed her beautiful face. "I needed to talk to you. Has something been going on in the last few hours you were awake? I got a bad feeling."
"I talked with Bailey, fired her, and threatened her life." It didn't sound like her at all but her friend did do terrible things to the people she cares for the most." That wasn’t it.
"Anything else?" I questioned. She told me about the meeting with her father and I growled. "How could he not care about his own flesh and blood? He helped bring them life, those are his children and Jenny was his mate."
