Alessandro's POV
I walked into the villa, eager to see Illyana after a long day of paperwork and deals. But as I entered the foyer, I froze. Illyana was frozen solid at the base of the stairs, her face pale, eyes red and puffy. She looked devastated, and my heart clenched with fear.
"Illyana? What's wrong?" I asked, cautiously approaching her.
She held up a stack of papers, her hand trembling. "I found these. In your office. The hidden compartment."
I took a closer look at the papers and my blood ran cold. It was the photos, the ones I kept hidden in the secret compartment of my desk. My darkest secret that I never thought would see the light of day again. I especially never wanted her to see it.
