Chapter 29 Cinder trained hard, but she still had nervous energy when it was time to go home. She hoped her run back home through the cool night air would wind her down so she could sleep tonight. Sleep always became more precious as the full moon neared. The background sound of the crickets and frogs accompanied her as she jogged back home under the stars. She was halfway home when someone walked out of the shadows near the edge of the woods.
