Stan rushed to the bridge of Kenny’s cruiser. In his excitement, he stumbled and nearly fell. The binoculars were on the seat of the captain’s chair. Stan grabbed them and watched the Sea Witch, tied to the dock of the Sergio Mendes mansion. He pressed his lips and thought, my visit must have created considerable alarm. Slavers ran back and forth, dragging slaves to the Sea Witch. Most of them fought like the devil, and in one instance, a slaver used a rubber club and smashed a beautiful girl over her head with it. She collapsed on the spot, forcing the slaver to carry her to the cruiser. Then two slavers dragged two very young girls, both with brown hair to the Sea Witch.
