Stan woke at six with a slight headache and anticipated the coming day. Mother nature called, and Stan went to the stern and peed in the water. Then he quickly shaved, rinsed off in the shower, and got dressed. The detective checked the refrigerator. He found eggs and scrambled six of them. Kenny surprised him, “Good morning.”
“I’m making scrambled eggs. Would you like some?”
“Absolutely.” Kenny checked the engine for gas fumes, turned on the fan, and then started the engine, “Are we ready to go?”
“I’m ready.” Kenny backed out the cruiser and headed east-southeast, destination, Bahamas islands. Stan wobbled up to Kenny, taking scrambled eggs, toast, and coffee.
“Are you going to join me?”
“I’ll be back in a minute.” Stan sat next to Kenny on the bridge, and both enjoyed the fresh morn
