Watching her sons load up two vehicles, organize car seats, and then get out and move to another vehicle was almost comical. However, Becky was also watching her daughter-in-laws, particularly Diana, who seemed to worry more than any of the women about where the men were going with her children. She had never seen this sort of fear and uncertainty in Diana before. Even Jed had a moment where he rested his hand on her cheek, sliding it into her hair to hold her, before saying something that Diana seemed to accept.
