Cystal arrived at her house in the evening, before the day was so dark after she had hung out with her friends. She felt happy because she felt like a normal juvenile that day, studying at the university and making new friends. She parked her bike and looked around the workshop. Most of all the workers in the workshop were gone except one. Yup, he was Mars. He was waiting for Crystal a long day to meet her. His mind was in chaos. He was cleaning the workshop when she arrived. "Cryst.. Crystal..." Mars called Crystal when she parked her bike in the workshop and would go into the workshop office. Crystal stopped her step and turned her head to him. "What?" She was looking at him, she wanted to know why he called her, but he didn't say anything. "Huff..." He exhaled and threw his eyes into the trash bag which he was holding while throwing garbage in it. He had no brave. His lips were dumb. He couldn't say to her what he was feeling. She made wrinkles between her eyebrows when she didn't get any answer from him. She felt weird why he called her but didn't want to say anything and ignored her. She continued her steps to go to the house. She turned her head to him again, making sure that Mars really didn't want to say anything to her when she had just got into the office. He didn't look at her anymore, he was pretending that he was busy with the trash. Actually, his heart was broken and became a million pieces. He looked like collecting pieces of his heart rather than collecting the garbage. Poor Mars... he gave up. He felt lost before going to war. He felt no power to take his lovely girl and he didn't want to ruin their relationship by telling her about his feelings. He wanted to keep their relationship in good condition with her even though she couldn't be his. He worried their relationship would be awkward if he told her about his feelings. He didn't want to lose her. Crystal opened the connecting door. She wanted to go to her room through the dining room. "Cryst..." Her father called her when he saw her walking through the dining room. Crystal stopped and turned her head to face him. "Huff..." She exhaled. She knew that her father wanted to talk with her, but she didn't want to have any conversation with him. She thought every conversation with him was not a conversation but an order from him and she must obey it and she didn't want to do it if it was not correct. Because of that, her father assumed her as a rebel girl. "Do you know Marco?" Her father asked her when she was looking at him. "Marco?" She made wrinkles between her eyes. She tried to recall her memories. She tried to find Marco in her memories, but she couldn't find any memory of a male named Marco. "The man that several nights ago was looking for me." Her father explained and in her mind noticed 'Oh, that man's name is Marco.' She released the wrinkles between her eyebrows after she knew which man he was talking about. "Why?" She asked him. She was curious what the next surprise would be. "He wants to marry you." The words from her father made her show wrinkles between her eyebrows again. Her mind said 'what the!?' She knew there was a surprise, but it was more than she could bear. It was too much for her. Marry someone at her age!! It was far away from her goals. "I don't want it." She shook her head while continuing her steps to go to her room. "Hey! Listen to me! At least you know him first! He's a CEO. It's better to marry him than work in the middle of nowhere!" Her father yelled to her. He thought that Marco was a nice catch to be his son-in-law. "I'm not working anymore! I'm a student at a university right now!" She said before closing the door of her room. She didn't want to debate with him anymore and she didn't care how he would clean up that problem. "Huff..." She exhaled... She thought that she would never have a normal life. She had just thought about finally having a normal life as a new student at the university a few minutes ago, but suddenly a storm attacked her. It made her doubt what she was doing. Was she doing the right thing? And a question was running in her mind: 'Am I too late to go to university? And this is my time to marry?' 'No!' She shook her head to avoid that question. "No, I'm not late!" She talked to herself while shaking her head. Yeah, she was right no word late to have an education. Another question was running in her mind about her father. She was wondering if her father had a debt to Marco and he wanted to sell her to him. It made sense in her mind why her father wanted her to marry Marco. She thought that she would escape from her parent's house if he forced him to marry Marco and a few seconds later she thought that it was impossible her father had forced Marco to marry her without Marco's permission. That meant Marco wanted her. Yup, her analysis was close to reality without debt and loan. She didn't realize her charm so easily to get a man's attention. She turned on the music and then threw her body on the mattress. Rock and slow rock music were like the voice of her mind. The words that she couldn't say to the world. She didn't want to think about Marco anymore, but he didn't want to leave her mind. She thought that no wrong from Marco. He was a mature man. She didn't know his age, but she was sure it was around thirty and he had good wealth and a good appearance. She was sure many women wanted him, but why did he want to marry her? Did he want to collect a lot of wives? Or love at first sight? She shook her head on the mattress, she didn't believe in love at first sight. And then many things were running in her head. He looked like a nice man. How if he really fell in love with her at first sight? How if she marries him? She shook her head. She didn't want to marry at that time. She thought that even though she was okay to marry Marco she needed her education first. She covered her head with a pillow. She didn't want to think about him anymore. She also didn't want to think about the messy kitchen which was waiting for her to clean. She thought that she would clean it tomorrow morning. She didn't want to get out of her room that night. She didn't care about dinner. She didn't want to meet her father that night. She didn't want to argue with him, she didn't want to go to a war which she would lose. Meanwhile, Crystal was avoiding the reality that a man wanted to marry her. Mars was fighting with himself. He thought that he needed a transition. He thought that he must be stronger. He thought that a lot of money would help his pride, money would increase his prestige. He wanted to change his job. "Huff..." He exhaled while throwing away the trash bag and then he walked to the restroom to take a shower and change his clothes. He didn't want to go home, he wanted to meet his friends that night. He was sure of his decision to change his occupation. He would ask his friends and his acquaintances to get a new opportunity.
