chapter 04

Crystal was standing in front of the mirror in her room to look at her appearance. She had just taken a shower and got her clothes. She decided to accept the scholarship and would go to the campus to complete the register file and would handle anything that she needed to handle on that day. She turned her body while looking in the mirror to see her appearance once again. She saw herself in a square pattern shirt and her old jeans were swollen on the knees. The jeans showed their age. They were the proper clothes that she had. She was never dizzy about it when she worked, as long as they were clean enough. But at that time, she was worried about her appearance because she would start a new chapter in her life. She realized that she had never bought new clothes lately because she was skimped.

"Huff..." She exhaled and took her bag on the table before getting out of her room. She thought that it wasn't the right time to worry about it. She would buy some later. Yeah... she didn't need to worry about money to buy it. Her savings were saved, but she knew she would need money to buy some books and other things later. She only needed to be wise to use it. She thought that it wasn't easy to get a job in her small town. She gave up looking for it. She didn't want to hear any discourse from the business owners again if they knew her father.

Crystal walked to the workshop to get her bike. She was parking it there. They also used the workshop as a big garage for their house. The workshop was open, her father's employees were working, including Mars. The edge of his eyes caught his lovely girl getting into the workshop. He stopped his activity to see her. He knew her bike was still at the workshop. It made him think that maybe she was home, and he was right. She was riding her yellow bike slowly, and didn't want to make any noise that would disturb the worker, but she didn't realize that her movement was disturbing a man's heart. Mars's heart was beating faster when he saw her, but he couldn't do anything to help it except watch her get out of the workshop...

Crystal arrived at the university campus, she looked around before parking her bike. She didn't know where she should park her bike. She couldn't find any bikes around there or a sign for bike parking space there, so she parked her bike near a yellow sports car. She looked around once again to make sure that she parked her bike at the right place and she still couldn't find the right place to park her bike. She was unfamiliar with that place. It was her first time there. She glanced at her bike before leaving it. She smiled when she realized her bike had the same color as the sports car beside it. She thought 'yeah.. at least they have a similar thing that could connect them.' She walked through a hallway to go to the office while looking around. She didn't see many students at that time because the academic period hadn't started yet. Some of them come to the campus to register like her or use gym hall or another campus facility.

Crystal had registered, she walked out of the office. She shifted her bag's sling to position her sling bag in front of her stomach before going to the parking area.

"Hmm..." She took a deep breath while walking, she wanted to taste the air of the campus, the place that she would often go to study. She was feeling happy because she would start to study at university finally. The parking area wasn't far away from her, she saw her bike was still in its position beside a yellow sports car. The edge of her eyes caught a guy with a white shirt and dark blue pants, walking to the yellow sports car beside her bike when she was looking at her bike. She automatically stopped walking to see that handsome guy. Her eyes captured all of his movements so clearly. The movement of his black hair that was blowing the wind and touching his nose, the movement of his hands getting into his pocket's pants to search for the car key in it. The movement of his shoulders when he moved his hands and the muscles in his arms worked. The rolled sleeves of his shirt showed the shape of half part of his lower arms. A good view!

"Hmm..." She took a deep breath and blinked her eyes.

"Huff..." She exhaled... She didn't want that good sight to hypnotize her. She threw her eyes on the ground. She was shocked! It was the first time she had been interested in a man like that. She was freezing, her brain was working so hard to find the reason why she did it.

"Yeah..." She murmured while nodding her head. She found the reason why she did it. Actually, that was not the reason, but she tried to make sure of herself, it was a normal reaction because for a long time she hadn't seen males except her father's workers and all the males she had seen in high school were boys, not yet a man, and almost all the employees in the factory in her division were female. She convinced herself it was a normal woman's reaction when they saw a handsome guy. She was sure it was because her hormones worked at their peak time. She wanted to avoid thinking if that guy was special. She walked to her bike after the yellow sports car which the handsome guy was riding got out of the parking area.

She was riding her bike to go home, she forgot about going to the factory to give her resignation letter while making herself sure that what just happened to her was a normal reaction. A small part of her mind knew it wasn't normal, she had a curiosity about that guy, she wanted to know about him.
