******** James POV ******** James had watched Irene jogging, watched her stretch to cool down watched her head back to the apartment they once had shared. He knew he had made a mistake when he had cheated on Irene but right now she was making a mistake in trusting this guy. His jealousy was out of control, he had to have Irene. No one else could. He would make her see that they belonged together. He just had to get a plan in place. Soon they would be reunited. Irene was back in her apartment drying off after her shower. Seth had told her to wear something nice so she had picked out a simple white and green dress. It wasn't super fancy or anything. She wanted to talk to him before the went to eat anyways. Wanted to see what he had to say for himself. Would he honest or defensive? She didn't notice that there was a camera pointed at her closet. However even though she didn't notice it she did get the feeling that someone was watching her. She spun around in a slow circle looking around. Not seeing anything she shook the feeling off and got dressed. There was a knock on her door, she opened it to find her landlord there ready to change her locks. Nick was a nice enough guy and they made small chat while he swapped the locks out and gave her new keys. "Irene what's that over there?" Nick pointed near her ceiling by the closet. "Is that a camera?" "Oh my god!" Irene exclaimed. "I had a feeling that someone was watching me but I ignored it." Irene felt like her skin was crawling. Who would be setting up anything like that in her apartment? "I'm going to disconnect the wires and you should file a police report. Maybe go stay the night with a friend." Nick patted her shoulder trying to be comforting. Irene felt shook up the only person who had been in her apartment lately unannounced was James. He had been acting really oddly, almost threateningly. She knew he had been on some kind of medication while they were together. Maybe he had missed a couple of doses or something. Irene thought she should call his brother Mike. She dialed the phone and Mike picked up on the second ring. "Hello?" "Hey Mike, it's Irene. I'm sorry to bother you but something strange happened with James today. I came home and he was in my apartment. After he left my landlord found a camera up in my ceiling. I'm worried he might not be taking his medicine or something." "Irene, listen to me. James is unstable right now, he hasn't had any of his medication. Mom tried to get him to go see someone and he left the house and no of us have seen him for a couple of weeks now. Last time I spoke with him he had been drinking and he was going on and on about you. If you see him again you should call the police." Hanging up the phone, Irene felt so uneasy. What the heck was wrong with James? He had never done anything like this while they were together. Never had gone on any kind of bender or had any weird obsessions. Maybe she should stay with Jade tonight. In all honesty she didn't even feel like going on a date with Seth right now. She was feeling emotionally raw between learning the truth about him and finding out her ex was basically stalking her She called Jade and explained what was going on. Jade didn't even hesitate when she told her that she could stay the night. She changed out of her fancy dress and into sweat pants and a baggy sweatshirt. She grabbed a post it note scribbled something down on it. She taped that and the picture from the tabloid on her door before leaving. Irene shut off the sound to her cellphone so Seth couldn't call her either. She just really needed some space right now. Seth showed up at Irene's to pick her up for dinner. His heart sunk when he noticed she had something taped to her door. It was a picture from a tabloid with him holding the waist of Amber his short fling. The word billionaire was printed at least three times. Oh no! Irene must be so upset with him. There was a post it note taped next to the magazine cover. Seth I do want to talk about this, I just need some space right now. It wasn't signed, there were no hearts or x's and oh's. Seth felt absolutely awful, he never meant for her to find out like this. He should have told her sooner. He was just trying to let her know him without knowing his fortune. When people found out how rich you were it seemed to change relationships. Make people expect more or want more. It made people look at you different sometimes. Regardless he was going to respect what she asked of him. He was going to give her the space and time she needed. It was only fair. Over at Jade's house they made ice cream sundaes and popcorn. Irene was so glad to have her to vent to about all of it. Jade sat up grabbing her empty bowl to take to the her kitchen. "You know Irene, I thought something about Seth's face seemed familiar. I just couldn't put my finger on it. I know you're upset about that but I think you should be more worried about James. That really worries me that he was in your apartment like that and watching you." Irene followed her into the kitchen. "I know, I'm honestly so freaked out about it right now. I want to move out of my apartment." Jade shook her head, "you can stay with me babe. I got room." Irene hugged her tightly. "I'm so glad I have you by my side with all of this. Will you come with me tomorrow so I can grab some thing?"
