Rayne I’ve got to catch Zyaire before he gets too far away. Running to the window, I climbed over it and jumped down. Ignoring the pain in my ankle, I ran to the front of the house. Odd. The guards that were out here earlier were gone. Why would they leave? Nobody knocked on the door. Looking around, I rushed back around the side. The guards couldn’t have gone far. There were always serious repercussions if you left your post without permission. Heading down the street, the sound of music and laughter carried on the breeze.
