Three more months and they were almost near where the 5 oceans met the sea Adam the twins father was constantly looking off into the distance with Nikon Binocular like he would see it if he looked harder.
Elijah started to play his music on his phone hoping that he could drown out his brother Ethan horrible sing... Elijah keeps track of their travel.
October 10th, 2020. It's a sunny day for being on the water... His tired eyes stare at his father, he yawns...He slightly grinned. He knew this was going to be a great vacation for his family. His father laughed. As he looked off in the direction of the little land that should not be there. He calls over to mom to stop the boat for the night so she does. Father anchors the boat and they walk to the captain's room...
After midnight, in the first hours of October 10th, 3059 For the first several hours, as dusk turns to night, it moved through sheltered coastal waters. Passengers hardy enough to withstand the wind and cold on deck would have seen gray forested islands creeping by to the north, darkening until it faded into the night. Gentle swells rolled in from the west, indicating the sea's unease—with significance probably only to the crew, which had received storm warnings for the open water ahead but had not spread the news. There were various forecasts, and they tended to agree: an intense
a low-pressure system near was moving quickly to the east, and was expected to drag rain and strong winds across the route, stirring up waves occasionally as high as twenty feet. Such conditions were rare for the area, occurring only a few times every fall and winter, but for ferries of this size they were not considered to be severe. Surviving crew members later claimed that a special effort had been made on the car deck to lash the trucks down securely—exemplary behavior that, if it occurred, probably had more to do with concern about vehicle-damage claims than about the safety of the ship.
A man emerged from a forward corridor, shouting, "Don't panic! The crew has everything under control!"
They did not panic. On the other hand, they believed that the ship was out of control. They came to the aft stairway. Using the railings and brass banisters, they hauled themselves rapidly up two levels, encountering only a few other passengers along the way. At around this time there was a sound so loud it echoed in the sky...
Lightning streaked across the night sky. Thunder shook the bows of the small boat. Rain pounded the deck and waves crashed over the side, coating the planks in a thick and slick gloss. Elijah could see nothing around him; Elijah fastened the knot only by years of instruction and practice. The lamps had all burned out of their oil and had spilled to the deck below. The only light was provided by the erratic lightning above. The wind howled around him and threw him against the rail. Elijah braced himself against it as a wave washed over the side and threatened to wash his small form away. The storm had come on suddenly, fierce and relentless. It was the worst one Elijah had seen in his eighteen years of Life.
"Elijah!"he only just heard his name over the wind and rain and he turned his head in the direction from which the shout had come. "ELIJAH, what are you doing? You should be in the cabin with your brother!" Liam, dad's best man, said.
Elijah shook his head in protest. "Brother is watching over them! All hands that are able are needed here to secure the mast! My hands are able!" Elijah had to shout his reply simply to be heard.
moved up the deck to fasten another rope, and Liam followed after him. Another wave crashed over the side and Elijah lost his footing. nearly fell and slid into the center mast, but Liam caught him round the waist and held him fast. When the wave dissipated Elijah regained his footing and continued on to the rope.
"Your father would have my head if he knew I permitted this behavior!"
"You are not permitting it, Liam. I am simply disobeying!"
"Elijah!" Somehow my father managed to raise his voice above the storm.
"Now you've done it," Liam said as my father made his way over.
Father grabbed my arm weakly. "Elijah, you shouldn't be out here. It isn't safe."
It was until Ethan pulled his brother into the cabin and they went to bed but something wasn't sitting right with him, this storm was not normal. It was like it was being controlled..
....
Later that night Screaming could be heard Elijah and Ethan race to the deck to see the largest of wave all night this one would certainly sink them their father and mother had a boat ready for them... they where push in to the raft and drop into the heck sea... being human and family Elijah yelled of his parents and like an obedient dog ETHAN held him down at his father's command... whining as he try to talk there mom and dad to jump in to the boat.... they said they would be sending an sos and grabbing there work and they would be right behind the twins...
Lighting struck the deck trapping there parents in the cabin as it started to sink slowly before finally being engulfed. Elijah try's to follow the boat under and open the door to the cabin he could see his mother and father shaking his head no and pointing up.... from the lost of air in his lungs on his upsend he pass out...
Ethan spotted his brother and pulled him up into the boat and started CPR... he had never thought he would lose his parents and brother and if he could help it, he would not lose his baby brother too... when Elijah started to puke up the water Ethan turn his head so the water rolled to the floor instead of back to his throat...
Yawn Elijah and Ethan cry them self to sleep...
