MAE. It was late in the night. I was sitting beside my sister. Her gaze was intense. I felt my heart racing so fast, unable to control the fear I was feeling. I tried to calm my nerves, feeling the need to say something as I sat down while admiring her every feature. I felt like things might never be the same for me again as I watched her silently on the cold night. I recalled the way I had warned her not to be irrational because she knew perfectly well that coming to rescue her father would jeopardize not only her but the people around her. I felt her pain as she closed her eyes without blinking. With a deep sigh, I stood up from the bed. I could feel the room getting hotter.
