He realised that his current suffering was because of the desire to not be kidn*pped by a band of ugly creatures and that if he could only accept his current situation, he would suffer much less. He shared his thoughts with Nadio.
“Do you remember what the healer said?” he mumbled under his gag. “If we could only accept our current situation, we would not suffer.”
“I saw, heard and understood him,” mumbled Nadio, still very sore from his fall. “I know the same as you. I am not inferior. I can speak and reason with the gods. But you are a liar, a useless healer.”
