chapter 3

Nova's POV

We get inside the school and boy oh boy was I wrong about it being deserted there was crowds of people. I take in my surroundings of beautifully sculpted statues ,of half shifted shifters of all kinds, in little acloves of the grey textered walls ,filled with paintings from seemingly everty era, of the academy before we came to a stop in front of a set of giant double doors. While beck is knocking I look back over my shoulder ,not realizing we had climbed two sets of stairs, to look out over all the people in the halls throwing confused glances our way I gulp turning my head back toward beck and the doors as soon as I heard a loud booming voice telling us to enter. Beck opens one of the doors and we are greeted by the sight of a man ,in his late twenties early thirties, seated behind a wooden desk with two chairs in front of it. The man lifts his head from whatever he was working on and greeted us with a warm smile "ah beck it's nice to finally meet you I'm glad your parents finally decided to send you here to-" he stops speaking and his smile turns into a frown when spots me standing slightly behind beck "it must not be good if you have ms.nova with you I hope your parenta are ok beck" he says with a saddened expression on his face. "When we left they were fine so I hope so as well" Beck says with a saddened expression as well. I step out from behind beck and look at the guy ,who I believe to be the dean, with a confused expression "uhmmm how do you know me sir" I ask. "Please just call me sam ms.nova come have a seat both of you beck just set the stuff down on the table in the corner there" he says as he point the right corner beside the door. I take a seat in front of the desk looking at the bookshelves, the painting and random knick knacks dotting the office. "Ms. Nova your parents were some very special people who were once great friends of mine as a matter of fact they helped build this academy along with becks parents as well" he says as I look at beck with astonishment. He just shrugs before looking back at dean sam "why does everyone keep calling my parents special" I ask thinking aloud. "I can't tell you yet you'll find out in due time Ms.nova let me get y'all's schedules printed along with your to number" he says as he turns to his computer clicking on a few things and then the printer comes alive printing our papers dean sam grabs the papers and hands them to us "here yall go I'll let y'all go ahead and go get settled in make sure not to get lost if you don't know where something is don't hesitate to ask." We grab our schedules and stop at the table to get our stuff, beck grabbed both my bags before I could protest so I only grabbed my box and photo album, before we head out the door to our dorms. I'm looking the schedule over to see what room and classes I have before asking beck "what dorm number do you have?" "I have dorm number 1821" he says nonchalantly. "Oh sweet me too" I say. We are halfway down the hall to our dorms when I hear the most ear piercing voice that makes me want to cause myself to go deaf ask "hey cute boy why are you being a pack mule for that normie?" I whip around and say "this cute boy here has a name." This blonde bimbo with fake looking boobs, botox injected lips, and extensions scowl at before turning a "seductive" smile on beck and asks "well what is your name cute boy?" "My name is on a need to know basis and you're not on that list and my friend here isnt a normie" beck says with a disgusted look on his face. "Well she smells like a normie why did the dean even let her in here to begin with" she says with her still supposed seductive smile to be honest it looks more like shes constipated. "Well at least I don't look like rejected barbie doll with a f****d hair from the factory come on mr need to know basis" I say before I turn around flipping my hair over my shoulder at the same time. "As you wish my princess" he says while doing a little curtsy before following me down laughing. "Oh you're so gonna regret that normie" she huffs as we start to turn the corner. "Oh you're so gonna regret that normie" I say in a mock of her voice before doubling over laughing with beck. "Come on princess we are almost there don't need you dieing of laughter now" He says as he pulls me a little ways down the hall to a door. "Hey look it's our dorm I wonder if we are the only ones in here" I think aloud. "Yeah nova I wouldn't count on-" he gets cut off by some crashing inside the room. We both take a quick glance at each other before he burst through the door ,trying to figure out what the hell is going on, where we are greeted by the sight of two guys on the floor wrestling and one cheering them on.The guy cheering them on is one of the most beautiful guys I have ever seen with his short strawberry blonde hair, fiery round eyes, succulent kissable lips, and his skin has just the right amount of sun so it not to tan or not to pale. The other two guys are a blur so I can't really make them just as I thought that they all seemed to notice us and stopped wrestling before standing up staring at us. Now that the two guys have stood up I can make out their details alot better the one on the right has blue green hair that cascades down to his shoulders, beautiful heart shaped lips, prominent ocean blue eyes that I could just drown in, and beautiful golden almost luminescent skin. The guy on the left has dark brown hair ,so dark it's almost black, shaggy hair similar to Beck's, cat like forest green eyes, and succulent kissable lips just like the first guy. It's almost an awkward silence as we all stare down each other before one of the guys that was wrestling on the speaks to me and beck. "Hi I'm Tate I'm taking it you two are our new room mates" he says as he shakes becks hand first then to mine. Im in a daze just looking at the delectable guys I jt stammer a little before I shut my mouth. Beck starts laughing at this and its like the spell like daze jt vanishes before I snap my head in his direction as he's talking to Tate "yeah man sorry bout her she is quite the weirdo my name's beck and this nova." "What happened to need to know basis and what about me being the being the princess" I ask with pouty lips but a playful glint in my eyes. "Ah yes sorry my princess I sincerely apologise for laughing at you" he says going along with joke while kneeling and pressing a kiss to my hand. "I do hope youll be able to forgive me for my atrocious behavior my highness" he asks while looking up at me waiting for a response. " Yeah yeah beck come on" I say before facing the other guys in the room " and he calls me weird but hi Tate I'm nova and who is the guy wrestling with you and the one cheering y'all on?" "Oh the one wrestling is Logan the one cheering us on is alex" tate says as they wave at us. "So are there only 5 of us" beck asks now standing back up. " Oh no there is six of us vladimir is off doing his pouty vampire thing" alex says finally speaking to us. I look at him then to beck in confusion "I thought this was a shifter school" I ask beck. "Nah anyone can come it's mainly for shifters buy it's for anyone who wants to and is approved by the dean it's rare for anyone that isn't a shifter to be here though to be honest" beck says to me. 'oh ok well then that was something new well hell all of this is new' I think to myself. "Oh hey do you want me to show yall yalls rooms" logan asks looking between me and beck. Beck answers for us "yeah sure these bags are getting pretty heavy with all the princess packed." "Har har really funny beck" I say punching beck in the arm before following logan off to the right down a hallway where there are a bunch of doors. "Ok nova yours is straight ahead at the end and beck yours is to the left of hers mine is to the right beside mine is vladimir's beside becks is Alex's beside vladimir is tate and across from tate is the bathroom." He says pointing at each door. "Ok thank you logan" I give him a smile before turning to beck "can you just set my stuff in your room? I'll get it later I just wanna take a nap." "Yeah sure nova not a problem" beck says to me. I turn and head to my room "thanks" I call over my shoulder before going into my room. I shut the door and head straight to the bed, not even looking around, before plopping down and falling asleep.
