ANNALISE POV

"Anna I think he's our second chance mate".

He walked toward me and I picked up his Alpha aura and his scent, he smelt like the forest the moon goddess took me to, and like rain, it had me weak at the knees. I gently stood up and looked at the guy, he looked like he was tired and had been fighting his way here. I had all kinds of feelings and thoughts running through my head but most importantly was how he got through border patrol, I stood up straight looked at the guy in his eyes his beautiful brown eyes oh my, and started to question him.

"Who are you and why are you on our land?" I said looking at him but he just tilted his head to the side, I couldn't read his expression, it was like he was expecting me to be scared but I couldn't keep my eyes off him, the way his black T-shirt hugs his muscular arms and his jeans fitted perfectly, I couldn't help but look at him from head to toe mostly focusing on the abs area, I started to wonder how would he look shirtless.

"Like what you see", he said, and oooh my wolf that deep rough voice sends an involuntary shiver down my body, I can already start to feel desire steering in me. I shifted my eyes to the ground and then to the sky regaining my composure.

"WHAT! NO, I have seen better" I lied, because no way in hell was I giving him any idea on how his presences affected me. 

"You didn't answer my question," I said, trying really really hard not to look at those lips those fully delicious lips,  s**t there I go again, I need to get out of here fast, or at least he has to leave.

He sighs and then looks to the back of him where more people starting showing themselves. I was shocked to see how many people were in the forest, from old to newborn was behind him.

"I'm looking for Al--- Ummm Colin Willow he is expecting our arrival", he answered, why the hell didn't he put Colin alpha title in front. That's disrespectful to any alpha.

 "You have your shield on dummy he thinks your human", said Nova, ohhh right, yes I had my shield up how could I forget.

"Perfect he's going to reject our sorry asses", I said, after what happened with Shawn I'm sure If he thinks we are human he will reject us. That the funny thing, you could be how strong but once you get rejected you start doubting yourself.

"You mean Alpha Colin, I will just give him a call real quick before taking you to the house," I said to the handsome hunk who just nodded his head like he was caught lying or making a lie. I just laughed and picked up my phone making it look like I'm texting but I mind link him instead.

"Alpha Colin", I said in a teasing tone, if it's one thing that sets him of is me calling him alpha and I love irritating him every chance I got, it's like I finally got the big brother I always wanted, "there is a group of people here to see you, they have already passed the border what to do?"

"Show them to the hospital, let them get a check-up and bring the Alpha to the house, or and next time you call me Alpha I'm going to kick your ass". Just great, my good feeling is gone, I wanted to stay far away from the house and the happy couple but now I have to go there, wait did that pretty boy say he's going to kick my ass bring it on.

"Yea right pretty boy", I replied laughing cutting the link.

After cutting the link I lead everyone to the hospital, while walking to the hospital, I could help take a peek now and then to get a mental picture of him, he is way too handsome for his own good when all of them went inside the hospital I hold my hand up to the alpha stopping him.

"Colin wants to see you in his office, but I don't want to go over there", I said pointing in the direction of the packhouse where the wedding was taking place, "is it ok if I have a friend take you?" I asked and he raised an eyebrow at me.

"Why don't you want to go to the house"? he asked. Well I don't know alpha maybe because my i***t ex mate is getting married to his girl friend. I internally sassed him but as if he could feel my internal sass he narrowed his eyes at me.

"That's a long story and I don't want to share", I said, with a loud sigh clearly showing I'm irritated by the topic. "Now puppy, do you want my friend to come or not", I said, not bothering that I called an Alpha a puppy, he, however, didn't like that at all, his posture went from being tired to straighten himself, shoulders back and putting on what I assume to be his best intimidating face. 

"Don't call me a puppy, I'm an Alpha and what do you know you're a human", he snapped gosh he looks so cute when he is angry. The fire in his eyes was sending warm tingles in places that should be affected by someone I just met. 

"I know I can kick your Alpha ass if you test me", I snapped, Yes that's more like it scare your mate away, use that as a distraction from the way your body is pulling you towards him, I looked him straight in the eyes but he wasn't mad, he had a stupid cute smirk on his face dammmnnn I want to kiss those lips so bad. 

"Puhlease, take your best shot human", he encountered, walking up to me, with every step he took forward I took one back until I was pressed upon the cool outside wall of the hospital. 

"You sure? I don't want to ruin that pretty face of yours", I said, with my back against the wall, pressing my self closer to the wall hoping to create some space between us, but with him being so close it was doing things to my body, he smirk turns to a smile, and s**t, I shouldn't have said that.

"WAIT, you think I have a pretty face", he said with his smile so pure, my word he is handsome, he stepped even closer, why is he so close I can feel his breath on my face, come on anna deny your heart out, denial is the best way. 

"What! no, it was an expression", I replied, hoping my breathing was as stable as I willed it to be but with him being so close I could hardly breathe, why the hell does this guy affect me so much it had to be the mate bond, there was no other explanation. He moved his head close to mines and stop by my ear. Now there wasn't any space between us and I won't lie the warmth from his body was amazing. I wonder is he affected as I am, or is he playing with me. 

"REALLY", He said, gently brushing his lip against my ear then dropped his hand on my hip gentling digging his fingers in, well that's it my panties are soaked I closed my eyes inhaled his scent, and answered "Yes", breathing heavily like I just ran a mile. Our bodies were pressed up against each other and right then and there, he dropped his head between my neck inhaling deeply placing a light kiss. The spark that ripple through my body had me forgetting where we were and who can walk in on us. After a minute I heard someone clearing their throat causing both of us to step back from each other and of course it had to be Shawn.

"Ummm, Alpha Colin send me to get you", said Shawn looking directly at Mr. handsome. My protective instincts kicked in and I moved to stand between them. I was beyond pissed he could have sent anyone else, literally anyone else. 

"I will take him, YOU don't have to worry, you can go back to the wedding", I said, trying to sound so cold not showing how pissed of I am, the atmosphere around us was so tense you could feel it a mile away, I was looking at him straight in his eyes without even blinking, more like a staring contest and then he backed off, that's right b***h know your place. As I was about to walk off with Mr. handsome, Shawn tried to grab me by my elbow, and that made Mr. handsome punched him so hard he stumbled.

"DO NOT DARE TOUCH HER AGAIN, IF YOU WANT TO LIVE TO SEE YOUR HONEYMOON I SUGGEST YOU KEEP YOUR HAND TO YOURSELF PUP",  He shouted, at this point they were face to face, nostril faring while his alpha aura surrounded us.

"Come on let's go Colin is waiting on us", I said grabbing his hand, and there it is more of those wonderful sparks that will no doubt cloud my judgment when it comes to this very ridiculous handsome man, I looked up at him and he looked down at me knowing full well both of us felt it.

I took him to the house leaving a bloody and pissed ex-mate watching us. When we reached outside the office I knocked,

"Come in", Colin answered. 

We both walked in going to different sides of the room, both of us deep in thought not even looking at each other. I'm pretty sure he confused as to why the moon goddess mated him to a human, he doesn't look disappointed thou. 

"Anna thank you for bringing Alpha Caleb here", 

"No problem Colin, can I leave now I would like to go to my room," I said very quickly maybe a little to quickly but I really need to put some distance between me and Caleb. 

"NO, YOU ARE STAYING HERE WHERE I CAN KEEP AN EYE ON YOU," Caleb shouted, surprising both Colin and myself. Did he just shout at me, excuse me, is this man crazy, I may be crazy about him but that's no way to talk to me. He's clearly upset and I could see his eyes change color which meant his wolf was coming forward. 

"Excuse me, do I look like a damsel in distress to you" I snapped back, 

"NO, but I didn't like how that guy grabbed you" He snapped back standing trying to show dominance, little did he know that s**t doesn't work on me. 

"Listen here puppy I-----" I started but was cut off by a very amused Colin,

"ENOUGH WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON, WHY DID YOU CALL AN ALPHA A PUPPY THAT'S BEYOND DISRESPECTFUL", Colin said trying so hard not to laugh but I could see it all over his face.

Both Caleb and I tried to talk at the same time making no sense at all but Colin being the supportive cousin he is ( note the sarcasm) just laughed harder causing both of us to shut up and look at him. After he stopped laughing he looked at me and started talking.

"Care to explain before your parents get here", nope, not really but I know he won't drop it. 

"Well ammm..... you see......we were at the hospital and we were talking", I said quickly looking at Caleb face who had stupid smirk on it "yea ,talking, and Shawn showed up trying to be all tough, and I had to put him in his place, while we were leaving he grabbed my elbow and the puppy punched him".

"Ahhhhh Stop with the puppy, I'm an Alpha for god sake", he sighed rubbing both hands down his face, clearly irritated, 

"OK Anna that's enough with the puppy, and I'm sorry I send Shawn but you weren't answering the link so I had to ask him as he is my beta", Colin said completely forgetting that my scent was masked. I looked at him with wide eyes and then looked at Caleb's shocked expression, gosh how the hell is this boy an Alpha when he can't even keep a stupid secret, well it's out now. As I removed the mask Caleb inhaled and his eyes turn black.

"MINE", he shouted his eyes fully black and his body vibrated, rolling my eyes I looked over to him. 

"Yea I know", I said, the focus my attention on a very amused Colin I don't know why my life is so funny all of a sudden. 

"This is too good, finding your second chance mate on the day of your first mate's wedding, oh my god I have to tell your dad", Colin said laughing, but before I could stop him I heard a loud growl coming from outside. That is it Colin was going to get his ass handed to him, I jumped over the deck and dived at him, I was so focused on trying to strangle Colin I forgot my mate was looking at us, after a few minutes the door burst open with my parents, Uncle Kylen, James, Shawn, Uncle Logan, grandfather and of course John came in. They all looked over at me trying to strangle Colin and then to Caleb.

Knowing that was my cue, I stood up and walked to Caleb to stand next to him, it makes no sense trying to hide it, now that Colin opened his big mouth, I turned to my dad and was about to explain when Shawn started asking questions,

"Is it true"? Shawn said looking at me,

"Yes I am Anna's mate is that a problem", Caleb answered, 

"Was I talking to you? I was asking Anna, well is he your mate or not", Shawn asked causing everyone to look at me waiting on an answer. I don't know what pissed me off more, the fact that he disrespected my mate or the fact he questioned me as if I owed him some sort of explanation.

"YES CALEB IS MY MATE", I breathe out and looked at Colin and James with a smirk they both knew I was up to something. "And Colin no need to find a room for Caleb he will be staying with me, in my room on my bed, I'm sure that's ok with everyone", they all nod except for Shawn who was staring daggers at us. I took Caleb's hand and walked straight to my room and closed the door, leaning my head on the door trying hard not to think about what to do next.

 As I turned around his lips was on mine, oh my god my first kiss, I was so shocked it took me a minute to respond to his kiss, he slid one of his hand on the base of my back and the other behind my neck holding me in place while both my hand wen around his neck, the sparks was there and when he touched me it was like wow, the way my body reacted to him at this point I wanted to jump him right there, he licked my bottom lip seeking entry with his tongue and I opened my mouth for him, as his tongue touch mine I moan causing him to push me against the door harder. What started as a soft kiss turned to a kiss full of lust and passion like we couldn't get enough of each other. As we pulled apart to breathe he looked at me in my eyes and smiled causing me to blush, I'm pretty sure I'm the color of a tomato. Nova was so happy she was purring in my head. 

"That was WOW, I'm not sure how we are going to sleep in the same room tonight", Caleb said while he ran his hands up and down my sides. I close my eyes enjoying his touch, I knew I wanted more but will it be too soon I just meet him but he is my mate.

"Who said anything about sleeping", I said biting my bottom lip, his eyes turned black with lust causing me to get all hot and bothered. He kissed me lightly on the lips leaning his head on mines.

"You are so beautiful I hope you know that, I know we both want this, but we only just meet and I don't want to rush you in any way", 

Gosh can he be any more of a gentleman, I nod because we both know I'm not ready, oh my god how can I even think about things like that, I'm a virgin I don't even know what to do. As my heart started to race he looked at me.

"What's wrong"

"If I tell you please promise me you won't laugh",

"Come on, I won't laugh at you"

"I-I-I'm a v-virgin"

A huge smile came across his face, he kissed me lightly on the lips and then to my neck, I grabbed his head and arched my back to give him more but he pulled away looked me in the eye, and said 

"Perfect"
