At A.K. Headquarters. . . .
After the lunch meeting with Thomas, Alex headed out from his office as he was needed at some construction sites for his inspections. He entered the elevator and called Alan with an order to arrange a car for them, "Alan, we are already one hour late. Make it fast." he said and cut the call.
As he came out of the elevator and crossed the reception area, his eyes fell on a slim figure sitting on the chair with a book in her hands. Alex's steps halted for a moment but he continued walking ahead as he couldn't stop midway like this. He went to the underground parking lot of the building and called back his assistant, "Make the trip delay for thirty minutes." he said and turned around to go back to his office.
