At the Girls’ house . . . .
Three of them were lying on the couch while waiting for Sophie’s parents’ arrival. It was near afternoon when the doorbell of the girls' house rang.
Sophie ran outside and opened to see her mother standing there. "Hey mom. I have missed you so much." She jumped to give her mother a hug.
