Anna got up from the sofa she was lying on and checked the time. She and Sophie had dozed off in the latter's room. They couldn't think of anything to do in their boring life.
"Oh! It's already lunch time. And here I was thinking why I felt hungry so soon," she said, rubbing her tummy. She then looked at her friend who seemed lost in her own universe. "Hey, I'm going to the kitchen to cook something. Do you want anything specific?" She stroked Sophie's head lightly.
"Anything's fine, I'll eat," she replied before adding, "Wait. I'm also coming with you," and she got up from the bed and followed Anna out of the room.
