Max I dug my shovel into the dirt, sweat dripping down my forehead despite the chill in the air. Manual labour was just something that always brought it out, rain or shine. I didn"t mind too much, it was good to have something useful to do, and the weather was staying nice. Maybe my streak of bad predictions was over. I could dream, but I wasn"t naive enough to actually believe that. Whatever was wrong with my magic was a real issue, one that I had no idea how to fix. I pushed my shovel into the earth and focused on the job at hand, trying to chase away all thoughts of magic with hard labour. That was the best thing for me to do right now.
