Witch"s WarningThis is the first time that either of us has written a romance between two men, but we knew that with the expansion of the Purple Oasis series, this was the perfect place for it - especially as the two of us loved Max as a character too much to skip him. That is partly to do with Max and Eva sharing some of the same origin story as Arizona, in that they were born in China and adopted by European parents. It was really important for us to include that for their characters, especially as it"s an experience that is close to our own lives.
